Abstract
Description
図1は、本実施形態に係る車両1を模式的に示す斜視図である。この車両1は、図1に示すように、進行方向(図1の矢印参照)にほぼ対称な車体を有している点、車輪2,3が極端に両端寄りに配置されている点、エンジンルーム(モータルーム)を覆うボンネット等を有していない点、車両側面1cのほぼ全面が出入口を構成する点など、従来一般の車両とは大きく異なる外観を呈している。
〈ブレーキ装置の配置〉
図3は、ブレーキ装置10を模式的に示す斜視図である。ブレーキ装置10は、図3に示すように、ブレーキアクチュエータ20と、ブレーキユニット30と、ブレーキペダルユニット40と、エアタンク15と、第1〜第4ブレーキ配管11,12,13,14と、第1〜第4ブレーキキャリパ11a,12a,13a,14aと、第1〜第4ブレーキディスク11b,12b,13b,14bと、を備えている。
図4は、ブレーキ液圧伝達経路を模式的に説明する図である。このブレーキ液圧伝達経路では、図4に示すように、ブレーキユニット30およびブレーキペダルユニット40が最上流に位置し、これらの下流にブレーキアクチュエータ20が位置し、かかるブレーキアクチュエータ20から、第1〜第4ブレーキキャリパ11a,12a,13a,14aへブレーキ液圧が供給されるようになっている。
次に、前側収容室5における、ブレーキアクチュエータ20、ブレーキユニット30およびブレーキペダルユニット40の構造および配置について説明する。図6〜図8は、ブレーキ液圧発生装置20,30,40をそれぞれ模式的に示す平面図、背面図および側面図である。また、図9〜図11は、ブレーキ液圧発生装置20,30,40の車載状態をそれぞれ模式的に示す平面図、背面図および側面図である。
以上のように構成された本実施形態のブレーキ装置10によれば、ブレーキユニット30を、第1および第2ピストン33,34の摺動方向が車幅方向と平行になるように、換言すると、長手方向が車幅方向になるように配置していることから、前側収容室5内において、車幅方向に延びる車軸やクロスメンバ63,67,68等とブレーキユニット30とを平行に配置することができる。したがって、ブレーキユニット30を車両前後方向に延びるように配置する場合、換言すると、車幅方向に延びる多数の機器・部材と車両前後方向に延びるブレーキユニット30とが混在する場合に比して、前側収容室5のコンパクト化を図ることができ、これにより、車室4を広く取ることができる。
本発明は、実施形態に限定されず、その精神又は主要な特徴から逸脱することなく他の色々な形で実施することができる。

Claims (15)
- 車室と区画された収容室内に配置されるブレーキ液圧発生装置を備え、当該ブレーキ液圧発生装置と機械的に連結されるブレーキ操作手段が当該車室内に設けられていない車両に搭載される車両用ブレーキ装置であって、
上記ブレーキ液圧発生装置は、シリンダと当該シリンダ内を摺動するピストンとを有し、当該ピストンのストロークに応じてブレーキ液圧を発生させるものであり、当該ピストンの摺動方向が、平面視で、車両前後方向とは異なる方向になるように配置されていることを特徴とする車両用ブレーキ装置。 - 上記請求項1に記載の車両用ブレーキ装置において、
上記ブレーキ液圧発生装置は、平面視で、上記ピストンの摺動方向と車幅方向とのなす角度が、上記ピストンの摺動方向と車両前後方向とのなす角度よりも小さくなるように配置されていることを特徴とする車両用ブレーキ装置。 - 上記請求項1に記載の車両用ブレーキ装置において、
上記ブレーキ液圧発生装置は、上記ピストンの摺動方向が車幅方向と平行になるように配置されていることを特徴とする車両用ブレーキ装置。 - 上記請求項1に記載の車両用ブレーキ装置において、
上記収容室に、上記ピストンを押圧してストロークさせる押圧部材を備えていることを特徴とする車両用ブレーキ装置。 - 上記請求項1に記載の車両用ブレーキ装置において、
上記車両は、自動運転可能な車両であることを特徴とする車両用ブレーキ装置。 - 車室と区画された収容室内に配置されるブレーキ液圧発生装置を備え、当該ブレーキ液圧発生装置と機械的に連結されるブレーキ操作手段が当該車室内に設けられていない車両に搭載される車両用ブレーキ装置であって、
上記ブレーキ液圧発生装置には、第1液圧源を有する第1ブレーキ液圧発生装置と、第2液圧源を有する第2ブレーキ液圧発生装置と、が含まれており、
上記第1ブレーキ液圧発生装置と上記第2ブレーキ液圧発生装置とが、車幅方向に見て、車両前後方向に少なくとも一部重なるように配置されていることを特徴とする車両用ブレーキ装置。 - 上記請求項6に記載の車両用ブレーキ装置において、
上記第1ブレーキ液圧発生装置は、リザーブタンクおよびブレーキECUの少なくとも1つを有していることを特徴とする車両用ブレーキ装置。 - 上記請求項6に記載の車両用ブレーキ装置において、
上記第2ブレーキ液圧発生装置は、リザーブタンクおよびブレーキECUの少なくとも1つを有していることを特徴とする車両用ブレーキ装置。 - 上記請求項6に記載の車両用ブレーキ装置において、
上記車両は、自動運転可能な車両であることを特徴とする車両用ブレーキ装置。 - 車室と区画された収容室内に配置されるブレーキ液圧発生装置を備え、当該ブレーキ液圧発生装置と機械的に連結されるブレーキ操作手段が当該車室内に設けられていない車両に搭載される車両用ブレーキ装置であって、
上記ブレーキ液圧発生装置は、リザーブタンクと液圧源とブレーキECUとを有し、
上記リザーブタンク、上記液圧源および上記ブレーキECUは、車幅方向に見て、車両前後方向に少なくとも一部重なるように、上記収容室における上部に配置されていることを特徴とする車両用ブレーキ装置。 - 上記請求項10に記載の車両用ブレーキ装置において、
上記ブレーキ液圧発生装置は、シリンダと当該シリンダ内を摺動するピストンとを有し、
上記シリンダ、上記リザーブタンク、上記液圧源および上記ブレーキECUは、車幅方向に見て、車両前後方向に少なくとも一部重なるように、上記収容室における上部に配置されていることを特徴とする車両用ブレーキ装置。 - 上記請求項10に記載の車両用ブレーキ装置において、
上記車両は、自動運転可能な車両であることを特徴とする車両用ブレーキ装置。 - 車室と区画された収容室内に配置されるブレーキ液圧発生装置を備え、当該ブレーキ液圧発生装置と機械的に連結されるブレーキ操作手段が当該車室内に設けられていない車両に搭載される車両用ブレーキ装置であって、
上記ブレーキ液圧発生装置には、第1液圧源を有する第1ブレーキ液圧発生装置と、第2液圧源を有する第2ブレーキ液圧発生装置と、が含まれており、
上記第1ブレーキ液圧発生装置および上記第2ブレーキ液圧発生装置は、上記収容室における上部に、同一水平面内で隣接して配置されていることを特徴とする車両用ブレーキ装置。 - 上記請求項13に記載の車両用ブレーキ装置において、
上記車両は、自動運転可能な車両であることを特徴とする車両用ブレーキ装置。 - 上記請求項1〜14のいずれか1つに記載の車両用ブレーキ装置において、
上記ブレーキ操作手段は、乗員が足で操作するものであることを特徴とする車両用ブレーキ装置。
