Claims (5)
- 一端側の絶縁被覆から露出した第1芯線に第1端子を接続した端子付き第1電線と、一端側の前記第1電線の絶縁被覆の長さよりも長い絶縁被覆から露出した第2芯線に第2端子を接続した端子付き第2電線と、を用い、
前記端子付き第1電線の他端側の絶縁被覆から露出した第1芯線と、前記端子付き第2電線の他端側の前記第1電線の絶縁被覆の長さよりも長い絶縁被覆から露出した第2芯線と、を超音波接合用のホーンとアンビル間で超音波接合により接合する端子付き電線の接合方法であって、
前記ホーン側に前記他端側の第2芯線を配置すると共に、前記アンビル側に前記他端側の第1芯線を配置するセット工程と、
前記ホーンとアンビル間で前記他端側の第1芯線と他端側の第2芯線同士を超音波接合により接合する接合工程と、
を有することを特徴とする端子付き電線の接合方法。 - 請求項1記載の端子付き電線の接合方法であって、
前記セット工程にて、
前記ホーン側に前記第2電線の絶縁被覆の前記第1電線の絶縁被覆の長さよりも長い位置の中剥ぎで露出した第2芯線を配置すると共に、前記アンビル側に前記第1電線の他端側の絶縁被覆から露出した第1芯線を配置し、
前記接合工程にて、
前記ホーンとアンビル間で前記第2電線の絶縁被覆の前記第1電線の絶縁被覆の長さよりも長い位置の中剥ぎで露出した第2芯線と前記第1電線の他端側の絶縁被覆から露出した第1芯線同士を超音波接合により接合することを特徴とする端子付き電線の接合方法。 - 請求項1記載の端子付き電線の接合方法であって、
前記セット工程にて、
ダミー電線の絶縁被覆から露出した芯線を、前記他端側の第2芯線よりも前記ホーン側に配置し、
前記接合工程にて、
前記ホーンとアンビル間で前記他端側の第1芯線と他端側の第2芯線及び前記ダミー電線の芯線同士を超音波接合により接合することを特徴とする端子付き電線の接合方法。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の端子付き電線の接合方法であって、
前記第1芯線及び前記第2芯線は、同じ太さの複数の素線を有し、かつ、前記第1芯線及び前記第2芯線の断面積は、同じ断面積を有していることを特徴とする端子付き電線の接合方法。 - 一端側の絶縁被覆から露出した複数の素線を有する第1芯線に第1端子を接続した端子付き第1電線と、一端側の前記第1電線の絶縁被覆の長さよりも長い絶縁被覆から露出した前記第1芯線の各素線と同じ太さの素線を複数有する第2芯線に第2端子を接続した端子付き第2電線と、を用い、
前記端子付き第1電線の他端側の絶縁被覆から露出した第1芯線と、前記端子付き第2電線の他端側の前記第1電線の絶縁被覆の長さよりも長い絶縁被覆から露出した第2芯線と、を超音波接合用のホーンとアンビル間で超音波接合により接合した端子付き接合電線であって、
前記ホーン側に前記他端側の第2芯線を配置すると共に、前記アンビル側に前記他端側の第1芯線を配置した状態で、前記ホーンとアンビル間で前記他端側の第1芯線と他端側の第2芯線同士が超音波接合により接合されており、
前記ホーン側の前記他端側の第2芯線の複数の素線の方が前記アンビル側の前記他端側の第1芯線の複数の素線の方よりもより圧潰されて接合されていることを特徴とする端子付き接合電線。
