Abstract
Description
<充電情報提供システムの構成>
図1は、実施の形態1に係る充電情報提供システムの全体構成を概略的に示す図である。充電情報提供システム9は、複数の車両1〜4と、サーバ5とを含む。車両1〜4の各々は、たとえば、バッテリ110(図2参照)が搭載された電気自動車である。各車両1〜4は、充電器A〜Fのうちのいずれかから供給される電力によりバッテリ110を充電(プラグイン充電)することが可能に構成されている。
図3は、充電情報提供システム9が使用される状況の一例を示す図である。実施の形態1においては、図3に示すように6箇所に充電器A〜Fが配置されており、4台の車両1〜4が走行している状況を想定する。充電情報提供システムにおいては、ユーザによる充電器の選択を支援するために、充電器A〜Fでプラグイン充電を行なう潜在的な需要(潜在的な混雑度合い)を示す指標が充電情報として各車両1〜4に提供される。なお、以下では記載の簡略化のため、演算装置500により実行される処理を「サーバ5」により実行される処理と記載する。
このような充電器A〜Fの使用実績に加えて、本実施の形態では、車両1〜4の各々の走行状況も考慮される。具体的には、まず、車両1〜4の各々について、その車両が到達可能な範囲(「到達範囲」と記載する)内に設けられた充電器の台数が算出され、算出された充電器の台数が多いほど当該車両の台数が少なく換算される。この換算後の台数を以下では「換算台数n」と称する。

以下のフローチャートでは、図6に示した例を念頭に、サーバ5が車両2のユーザによる充電器の選択を支援する構成を例に説明する。
実施の形態1では、充電器の実効台数Nと使用率Uとの積により混雑指数Iが定義される例について説明した(上記式(2)参照)。しかし、これは、充電器Aの混雑指数Iを算出するための評価関数fの一例に過ぎず、評価関数fの形式は特に限定されるものではない。実施の形態2では、他の評価関数fが用いられる例を説明する。なお、実施の形態2に係る充電情報提供システム9の構成は、実施の形態1における構成(図1および図2参照)と同等である。

実施の形態1,2では、実効台数Nの算出に際し、車両の現在地および走行可能距離に関する情報がサーバ5により収集されると説明した。しかしながら、サーバ5は、すべての車両から、その現在地および走行可能距離に関する情報を収集できるとは限らず、上記情報をサーバ5に送信しない車両(すなわち、充電情報提供システム9に未登録の車両)も存在し得る。このような「未登録車両」によるプラグイン充電により充電器が混雑する可能性も考えられる。また、充電器のなかには、たとえば、新たに設置されてから、あまり時間が経過していないなどの理由により、その存在を多くのドライバに認識されていないものが含まれる場合もある。実施の形態2においては、充電情報提供システム9に未登録の車両や新たに設置された充電器などの影響を考慮して混雑指数Iが算出される。

前述のように、係数α,βは、多数のデータ(ビッグデータ)に対して勾配法を用いた機械学習などの最適化アルゴリズムを適用することで算出される。一般に、機械学習の精度を確保するためには、十分な量のデータを準備することを要する。したがって、充電器の使用実績(使用率U)に関するデータ量が十分でない場合には、係数α,βの算出精度が低くなってしまう可能性がある。

Claims (10)
- 各々に蓄電装置が搭載された複数の車両に外部充電のための充電情報を提供するサーバであって、
前記複数の車両との通信が可能に構成された通信装置と、
前記充電情報を生成する演算装置とを備え、
前記演算装置は、前記複数の車両のうちの対象車両に前記充電情報を提供する場合、
前記対象車両の前記蓄電装置に蓄えられた電力と前記対象車両の現在地とにより定まる前記対象車両の到達可能範囲を取得し、取得された到達可能範囲内に設けられた少なくとも1つの充電器を抽出し、
前記複数の車両の各々について、当該車両の前記到達可能範囲内に設けられた充電器の台数を算出し、算出された充電器の台数が多いほど当該車両の台数を少なく換算し、
前記少なくとも1つの充電器の各々について、当該充電器に到達可能な車両の換算された台数を合計することによって、当該充電器で外部充電を行なう可能性がある車両の実効的な台数である実効台数を算出し、
前記少なくとも1つの充電器の各々における潜在的な外部充電の需要を示す指標を前記実効台数に基づいて算出して前記対象車両に提供する、サーバ。 - 前記少なくとも1つの充電器の使用実績が格納されたデータベースをさらに備え、
前記演算装置は、前記実効台数と前記使用実績とに基づいて前記指標を算出する、請求項1に記載のサーバ。 - 前記使用実績は、所定条件毎に区分された期間に対する、前記少なくとも1つの充電器の各々の使用期間の割合である使用率を含み、
前記演算装置は、第1の係数により前記実効台数の重み付けを行なった値と、第2の係数により前記使用率の重み付けを行なった値とに基づいて前記指標を算出する、請求項2に記載のサーバ。 - 前記使用率には、前記実効台数から想定される前記使用率の範囲を表す標準範囲が存在し、
前記演算装置は、前記実効台数から前記標準範囲を取得し、前記使用率が前記標準範囲の最大値よりも高い場合には、前記使用率が前記標準範囲内である場合と比べて、前記第2の係数による前記使用率の重み付けを大きくする、請求項3に記載のサーバ。 - 前記使用率には、前記実効台数から想定される前記使用率の範囲を表す標準範囲が存在し、
前記演算装置は、前記実効台数から前記標準範囲を取得し、前記使用率が前記標準範囲の最小値よりも低い場合には、前記使用率が前記標準範囲内である場合と比べて、前記第1の係数による前記実効台数の重み付けを大きくする、請求項3に記載のサーバ。 - 前記演算装置は、前記使用率のデータを取得した期間が所定期間よりも短い場合には、前記期間が前記所定期間よりも長い場合と比べて、前記第1の係数による前記実効台数の重み付けを大きくする、請求項3に記載のサーバ。
- 前記演算装置は、前記実効台数が所定台数よりも少ない場合には、前記実効台数が前記所定台数よりも多い場合と比べて、前記第2の係数による前記使用率の重み付けを大きくする、請求項3に記載のサーバ。
- サーバから外部充電のための充電情報の提供を受ける車両であって、
蓄電装置と、
前記サーバとの通信が可能に構成された通信装置とを備え、
前記車両の前記蓄電装置に蓄えられた電力と前記車両の現在地とを示す情報を前記サーバに送信し、
前記サーバは、
前記電力と前記現在地とにより定まる前記車両の到達可能範囲を取得し、取得された到達可能範囲内に設けられた少なくとも1つの充電器を抽出し、
複数の車両の各々について、当該車両の前記到達可能範囲内に設けられた充電器の台数を算出し、算出された充電器の台数が多いほど当該車両の台数を少なく換算し、
前記少なくとも1つの充電器の各々について、当該充電器に到達可能な車両の換算された台数を合計することによって、当該充電器で外部充電を行なう可能性がある車両の実効的な台数である実効台数を算出し、
前記少なくとも1つの充電器の各々における潜在的な外部充電の需要を示す指標を前記実効台数に基づいて算出して前記車両に送信し、
前記車両は、前記車両のユーザに前記指標を報知するように構成された報知装置をさらに備える、車両。 - 前記報知装置は、前記少なくとも1つの充電器の各々を前記指標の大きさに応じたアイコンにより表示する表示装置を含む、請求項8に記載の車両。
- 各々に蓄電装置が搭載された複数の車両に外部充電のための充電情報を提供する、充電情報提供方法であって、
前記複数の車両のうちの対象車両に前記充電情報を提供する場合、前記対象車両の前記蓄電装置に蓄えられた電力と前記対象車両の現在地とにより定まる前記対象車両の到達可能範囲を取得し、取得された到達可能範囲内に設けられた少なくとも1つの充電器を抽出するステップと、
前記複数の車両の各々について、当該車両の前記到達可能範囲内に設けられた充電器の台数を算出し、算出された充電器の台数が多いほど当該車両の台数を少なく換算するステップと、
前記少なくとも1つの充電器の各々について、当該充電器に到達可能な車両の換算された台数を合計することによって、当該充電器で外部充電を行なう可能性がある車両の実効的な台数である実効台数を算出するステップと、
前記少なくとも1つの充電器の各々における潜在的な外部充電の需要を示す指標を前記実効台数に基づいて算出して前記対象車両に提供するステップとを含む、充電情報提供方法。
