Abstract
Description
図1は、第1の実施形態に係るハードコートフィルムの模式断面図である。
透明基材1は、ハードコートフィルム10の基体となるフィルムであり、透明性及び可視光線の透過性に優れた材料により形成される。透明基材10の形成材料としては、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン等のポリオレフィン、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ポリエチレンナフタレート等のポリエステル、ナイロン6、ナイロン66等のポリアミド、トリアセチルセルロース、ポリイミド、ポリアリレート、ポリカーボネート、ポリアクリレート、ポリエーテルサルフォン、ポリサルフォン等の透明樹脂や無機ガラスを利用できる。透明基材2の厚みは、特に限定されないが、10〜200μmとすることが好ましい。
ハードコート層2は、金属酸化物微粒子、バインダー、光重合開始剤及び溶剤を含有するハードコート組成物の硬化膜よりなる。ハードコート層2の表面(空気との界面側の表面)には、金属酸化物微粒子が偏在した金属酸化物含有層3が形成されている。金属酸化物含有層3は、透明基材1にハードコート組成物を塗布して形成した塗膜の乾燥過程において、金属酸化物微粒子を塗膜表面に偏析させ、金属酸化物微粒子を偏析させた状態でバインダーを硬化させることにより形成される。ここで、本明細書において、ハードコート層2に金属酸化物微粒子が偏在している状態とは、金属酸化物微粒子がハードコート層2の膜厚の0.6〜20%の範囲の厚みに局在し、かつ、金属酸化物含有層3に含まれる金属酸化物微粒子に由来する金属元素Aの存在量が、ハードコート層2のうち金属酸化物含有層3以外の部分に含まれる金属酸化物微粒子に由来する金属元素Aの存在量の50倍以上である状態をいう。金属酸化物含有層3の膜厚がハードコート層2の膜厚の0.6%未満の場合、金属酸化物微粒子の特性を発現させることができなくなり、金属酸化物含有層3の膜厚がハードコート層2の膜厚の20%を超える場合、ハードコートフィルム10の透明性が低下する。また、金属酸化物含有層3に含まれる金属酸化物微粒子に由来する金属元素Aの存在量が、ハードコート層2のうち金属酸化物含有層3以外の部分に含まれる金属酸化物微粒子に由来する金属元素Aの存在量の50倍未満の場合、金属酸化物微粒子が十分に偏在した状態が得られず、金属酸化物微粒子の特性を発現させることができない。
図2は、第2の実施形態に係る反射防止フィルムの模式断面図である。
透明基材として、厚み60μmのトリアセチルセルロースフィルムを使用した。透明基材の一方面に、下記の表1〜3に示す組成のハードコート組成物を塗布し、表1〜3に記載の温度で乾燥させた。その後、紫外線照射装置を用いて照射線量150mJ/cm2で紫外線照射を行うことにより塗膜を硬化させて、ハードコート層を形成し、ハードコートフィルムを得た。尚、ハードコート組成物の塗工量は、硬化後の膜厚が5.0μmになるようにした。
実施例1と同様に、透明基材の一方面に表2に示す組成のハードコート組成物を塗布し、下記の表2に記載の温度で乾燥させた。その後、実施例1と同様に、紫外線照射装置を用いて照塗膜を硬化させて、ハードコート層を形成した。

走査型透過電子顕微鏡(STEM)を用いて、各実施例及び各比較例で得られたハードコートフィルムまたは反射防止フィルムの断面像を取得し、取得した断面像から、金属酸化物含有層及びハードコート層の膜厚を測定した。より詳細には、まず、フィルムの断面像をSTEMで取得し、取得した断面像上において、金属酸化物微粒子が含まれる層と含まれない層とを特定し、透明基材上にハードコート組成物により形成された層の厚み(金属酸化物微粒子が含まれる層と含まれない層の厚みの合計)と、金属酸化物含有層の厚みとを測定した。そして、透明基材上にハードコート組成物により形成された層の膜厚のうち、金属酸化物含有層の膜厚が占める割合を算出した。
走査型透過電子顕微鏡(STEM)を用いて、各実施例及び各比較例で得られたハードコートフィルムまたは反射防止フィルムの断面像を取得し、取得した断面像上において、取得した断面像上において、金属酸化物微粒子が含まれる層と含まれない層とを特定した。得られたハードコートフィルムまたは反射防止フィルムにおいて特定した金属酸化物微粒子が含まれる層と含まれない層のそれぞれに対して、エネルギー分散型X線分析を行い、金属酸化物含有層以外のハードコート層に含まれる金属元素(金属酸化物微粒子由来の金属元素)の存在量に対する、金属酸化物含有層に含まれる金属元素(金属酸化物微粒子由来の金属元素)の存在量の比を算出した。
各実施例及び各比較例で得られたハードコートフィルムまたは反射防止フィルムの透明性を目視で観察し、透明性が良好であるか否かを評価した。表中の「○」は、透明性が良好であることを表す。
マルテンス硬度は、フィッシャー・インストルメンツ製PICODENTOR(登録商標) HM500を用いて測定した。
2Hの三菱ユニ鉛筆(三菱鉛筆株式会社製)及びクレメンス型引掻き試験機(HA−301、テスター産業株式会社製)を用いて、500g荷重で引っ掻き試験を行い、キズによる外観の変化を目視で観察した。引っ掻き試験を5回行い、キズが観察されなかった回数を鉛筆硬度の評価値とした。

- 透明基材上にハードコート層が積層されたハードコートフィルムであって、
前記ハードコート層の空気界面側に、金属酸化物微粒子を含有し、かつ、前記ハードコート層の膜厚の0.6〜20%の厚みを有する金属酸化物含有層があり、
前記金属酸化物含有層に含まれる前記金属酸化物微粒子に由来する金属元素Aの存在量が、前記ハードコート層のうち前記金属酸化物含有層以外の部分に含まれる前記金属酸化物微粒子に由来する金属元素Aの存在量の50倍以上であることを特徴とする、ハードコートフィルム。 - 前記ハードコート層が、前記金属酸化物微粒子、バインダー、光重合開始剤及び溶剤を含有するハードコート組成物の硬化膜よりなり、

前記溶剤の20℃における蒸気圧が10kPa以下であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のハードコートフィルム。 - 前記溶剤がポリエチレングリコールモノメチルエーテルであることを特徴とする、請求項2記載のハードコートフィルム。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のハードコートフィルムと、前記ハードコートフィルムの前記ハードコート層上に積層された低屈折率層とを備える反射防止フィルムであって、
正反射率が0.1%以下であり、反射色相a*、b*がいずれも−4以上+4以下であることを特徴とする、反射防止フィルム。
