前記吸湿性ポリマーが、(メタ)アクリル酸を主成分とするポリマーに塩基性化合物を添加してなる吸湿性ポリマーであることを特徴とする繊維構造体。」が提供される。
また、本発明によれば、吸湿性ポリマーを含む繊維構造体の製造方法であって、(メタ)アクリル酸を主成分とするポリマーに塩基性化合物を添加してなる吸湿性ポリマーを繊維構造体に付与することを特徴とする繊維構造体の製造方法が提供される。
なお、本発明の繊維構造体において、無機繊維が繊維構造体重量対比30重量%以上含まれることが好ましい。
本発明の繊維構造体にバインダー繊維が含まれていることが寸法安定性の観点で特に好ましい。
なお、上述のポリマー中には、各種安定剤、紫外線吸収剤、増粘分岐剤、艶消し剤、着色剤、その他各種の改良剤等も必要に応じて配合されていてもよい。
また、波状の形状を有する繊維シートと平らな繊維シートが接合してなる繊維シートの複合体を積層してもよい。
なお、繊維シートに吸湿性ポリマーを付与するのは、繊維シートの複合体を巻回または積層する前の工程で行ってもよいし後の工程で行ってもよい。
(1)飽和吸湿量
熱風乾燥機により60℃で12時間乾燥させ重量を測定する(W1)。
次に温度20℃、相対湿度70%RHに調整した恒温恒湿槽に180分静置して重量を測定する(W2)。吸湿量は以下の式で求めた。
180分後吸湿量(g/m2)=(W2−W1)/評価基材の面積(m2)
180分後吸湿量が40g/m2を超えると極めて高い吸湿特性であると判断する。
(2)初期吸湿量
熱風乾燥機により60℃で12時間乾燥させた後、重量を測定する(W1)。次に温度20℃、相対湿度70%RHに調整した恒温恒湿槽に3分間静置して吸湿重量を測定する(W3)。初期吸湿量は以下の式で求めた。
初期吸湿量(g/m2)=(W3−W1)/評価基材の面積(m2)
初期吸湿量が6g/m2以上であると良好な吸湿特性であると判断する。
(3)180分吸湿後の剛性
30℃90%RH下で10分吸湿後の各基材の剛性をJIS L1913−2010ガーレ法にて剛軟度(mN)で求めた。湿潤時剛軟度が10mN以上であると、成形物の湿潤による変形が起こり難いと判断する。
(4)目付け
JIS P8124(紙のメートル坪量測定方法)に基づいて測定した。
(5)厚さ
JIS P8118(紙及び板紙の厚さと密度の試験方法)に基づいて測定した。
繊維径10μm、繊維長10mmのガラス繊維60重量%、単繊維繊度2dtex、繊維長5mmの芯鞘PET繊維(芯成分:ポリエチレンテレフタレート、鞘成分:共重合ポリエステル)40重量%をあらかじめ溶解した分散剤(花王製、商品名「エマノーン3199」)を原料に対し0.5%となるよう添加し水中に分散させ、混合撹拌した後、湿式抄紙法でウエブを作製し、加熱加圧した後、アクリル樹脂エマルジョン(昭和高分子製、「AG−100」)を含浸法で添加し、加熱乾燥して目付け50g/m2、0.16mm厚さの基材シートを得た。
高分子収着材混合スラリー中の水酸化ナトリウムの添加比率を吸湿性微粒子に対し3.5mmol/gになる様にした以外は実施例1と同様にして薄厚高吸湿性繊維シートを得た。評価結果を表1に示す。

実施例1において、平均粒径30μmの高分子収着材微粉物(水酸化ナトリウムを無添加)を10%水溶液になる様に蒸留水を加えて良く撹拌し、乾燥重量で単位平方メートルあたり10g担持する様に繊維シートに塗布し、100℃で乾燥を行った。次いで、該繊維シートに、水に溶かした塩化リチウムが乾燥重量で15g担持する様に塗布し、同様に100℃で乾燥させ、薄厚高吸湿性繊維シートを得た。評価結果を表1に示す。

- 吸湿性ポリマーを含む繊維構造体であって、
前記吸湿性ポリマーが、(メタ)アクリル酸を主成分とするポリマーに塩基性化合物を添加してなる吸湿性ポリマーであることを特徴とする繊維構造体。 - 前記(メタ)アクリル酸を主成分とするポリマーがポリアクリル酸金属塩である、請求項1に記載の繊維構造体。
- 前記塩基性化合物が、ナトリウム、リチウム、カリウム、カルシウム、マグネシウムおよびマグネシウムからなる群より選択されるいずれかを含む金属化合物である、請求項1または請求項2に記載の繊維構造体。
- 前記(メタ)アクリル酸を主成分とするポリマーに前記塩基性化合物が0.1〜7mmol/g添加されてなる、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の繊維構造体。
- 繊維構造体が無機繊維を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の繊維構造体。
- 繊維構造体がバインダー繊維を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の繊維構造体。
- 繊維構造体が、目付けが20〜1000g/m2の繊維シートである、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の繊維構造体。
- 繊維構造体が、厚さが500μm以下の繊維シートである、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の繊維構造体。
- 前記吸湿性ポリマーの付着量が5〜500g/m2の範囲内である、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の繊維構造体。
- 繊維構造体において、10℃、90%RH下における3分後の吸湿量が6g/m2以上である、請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の繊維構造体。
- 30℃90%RH下180分放置後の湿潤剛軟度が14mN以上である、請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の繊維構造体。
- 繊維構造体が湿度交換用である、請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載の繊維構造体。
- 吸湿性ポリマーを含む繊維構造体の製造方法であって、
(メタ)アクリル酸を主成分とするポリマーに塩基性化合物を添加してなる吸湿性ポリマーを繊維構造体に付与することを特徴とする繊維構造体の製造方法。
