Abstract
Description
各試験タイヤをリムサイズ17×10.0Jのホイールに組み付けて、空気圧を240kPaとして試験車両(四輪駆動車)に装着し、泥濘路面において加速性能と脱出性能についてテストドライバーによる官能評価を行った。評価結果は、従来例1の値を100とする指数にて示した。この指数値が大きいほどマッド性能が優れることを意味する。尚、指数値が「102」未満では、実質的に従来(切り欠き部を設けない場合)と同等であり、マッド性能を改善する効果が得られなかったことを意味する。指数値が「107」以上であると特に優れたマッド性能を示したことを意味する。
各試験タイヤをリムサイズ17×10.0Jのホイールに組み付けて、空気圧を240kPaとして試験車両(四輪駆動車)に装着し、舗装路面において30000kmを走行し、走行後の摩耗量を測定した。評価結果は、従来例1の測定値の逆数を100とする指数にて示した。この指数値が大きいほど摩耗量が小さく耐摩耗性に優れることを意味する。尚、指数値が「95」以上であれば従来レベル(切り欠き部を設けない場合と同等)の耐摩耗性を維持しており、指数値が「97」以上であると特に良好な耐摩耗性を発揮できたことを意味する。

Claims (7)
- タイヤ周方向に延在して環状をなすトレッド部と、該トレッド部の両側に配置された一対のサイドウォール部と、これらサイドウォール部のタイヤ径方向内側に配置された一対のビード部とを備えた空気入りタイヤにおいて、
前記トレッド部に、タイヤ周方向に延びる複数本の縦溝と、タイヤ幅方向に延びる複数本の横溝と、これら縦溝および横溝によって区画される複数個のブロックとが形成され、
任意の縦溝を挟んで隣り合う一対のブロックの該縦溝に面する部位にそれぞれ切り欠き部が形成され、これら切り欠き部どうしは前記縦溝を挟んで対向しており、各切り欠き部の切り欠き幅および切り欠き深さが前記縦溝の延長方向外側よりも延長方向中央側で大きいことを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。 - 各ブロックにタイヤ幅方向に延びる溝幅が1.5mm以下のサイプ、または溝内に溝幅が1.5mm以下のサイプを備えた溝深さが2mm以下の浅溝が形成され、前記サイプのみ、または前記サイプおよび前記浅溝のみが前記切り欠き部に連通することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記切り欠き部の切り欠き幅が前記ブロックのタイヤ幅方向長さの10%〜25%であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記切り欠き部において切り欠き深さが最も大きい部分が前記縦溝の溝底から前記縦溝の最大溝深さの35%以上の位置に存在することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記ブロックの踏面の投影面積に対する前記ブロックの踏面における前記切り欠き部の面積の割合が3%〜16%であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記切り欠き部の切り欠き長さが、該切り欠き部が設けられた前記ブロックのタイヤ周方向長さの40%〜75%であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記切り欠き部が前記ブロックの踏面と平行な面で構成された底部を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
