Abstract
Description
本発明の端子付き電線100は、電線200と、端子金具300とを有する。電線200は、電線導体10の外周が絶縁被覆20で被覆されており、先端には、芯線が剥き出しの芯線部210を有する。端子金具300は、他の端子と電気的に接続される電気接触部330と、芯線部210に圧着される芯線圧着部310と、被覆部220に圧着される被覆圧着部320とを一体に有する。
電線200は、芯線である電線導体10の外周が絶縁被覆20で被覆されてなる。電線導体10は、複数の素線が撚り合わされてなる撚線からなる。この場合、撚線は、1種の金属素線より構成されてもよいし、2種以上の金属素線より構成されてもよい。また、撚線は、金属素線以外に、有機繊維よりなる素線などを含んでいてもよい。撚線中には電線200を補強するための補強線等が含まれていてもよい。
端子金具300の母材には、一般的に用いられる黄銅の他、各種銅合金、銅などを用いることができる。端子金具300の表面の一部もしくは全部には、スズ、ニッケル、金またはそれらを含む合金など各種金属によりめっきが施されていてもよい。
樹脂被覆部400は、芯線圧着部310および被覆圧着部320の全周囲を被覆するように形成され、腐食因子の侵入を防ぐ役割を果たす。
本発明に係るワイヤーハーネスは、上記本発明に係る端子付き電線100を含む複数の端子付き電線よりなる。ワイヤーハーネスを構成する端子付き電線のすべてが本発明に係る端子付き電線100であってもよいし、その一部のみが本発明に係る端子付き電線100であってもよい。

Claims (9)
- 芯線と、前記芯線を覆う絶縁被覆とを有する電線と、前記電線の先端に取り付けられた端子金具とを有し、
前記端子金具は、芯線圧着部において前記芯線と電気的に接続されるとともに、前記芯線圧着部よりも前記電線の長手方向後方側の被覆圧着部において、前記電線に前記絶縁被覆の外側から固定されており、
前記芯線圧着部および前記被覆圧着部を含む領域を樹脂により被覆する樹脂被覆部を有する端子付き電線において、
前記樹脂被覆部は、前記絶縁被覆を覆う部分に、肉抜きされた薄肉部を有することを特徴とする端子付き電線。 - 前記樹脂被覆部の前記電線長手方向に直交する断面が多角形状であり、多角形状の角部の少なくとも一部に前記薄肉部を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の端子付き電線。
- 前記樹脂被覆部の前記電線長手方向に直交する断面が多角形状であり、多角形状の角部のすべてに前記薄肉部を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の端子付き電線。
- 前記薄肉部の少なくとも一部の領域において、前記電線の絶縁被覆が露出していること特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の端子付き電線。
- 前記薄肉部は、電線長手方向に不連続に樹脂厚が変化することを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の端子付き電線。
- 前記薄肉部の電線長手方向の幅が、前記電線から遠い外側から、中心に向かって縮径するテーパ構造を有することを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の端子付き電線。
- 前記薄肉部の前記樹脂被覆部表面における電線長手方向の幅が、前記樹脂被覆部の前記絶縁被覆を覆う部分の長さに対して1%以上であることを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の端子付き電線。
- 前記樹脂被覆部を形成する樹脂が、ポリエステル樹脂であることを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の端子付き電線。
- 請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載の端子付き電線を有することを特徴とするワイヤーハーネス。
