Description
最初に本開示の実施態様を列記して説明する。
本開示の端子付き電線は、
[1]導体からなる芯線、及び前記芯線の外周を被覆する絶縁被覆を有する電線と、前記電線の長さ方向の端部に接続された端子と、を備えた端子付き電線であって、前記電線の周方向に沿って、前記絶縁被覆の外周面に固着された補強材と、前記補強材が設けられていない非補強部と、を備える。
[4]前記補強材が前記端子取付孔の内面に当接していることが好ましい。
[本開示の実施形態の詳細]
本開示の端子付き電線及びコネクタの具体例を、以下に図面を参照しつつ説明する。なお、本発明はこれらの例示に限定されるものではなく、特許請求の範囲によって示され、特許請求の範囲と均等の意味および範囲内でのすべての変更が含まれることが意図される。各図面では、説明の便宜上、構成の一部を誇張又は簡略化して示す場合がある。また、各部分の寸法比率についても、実際とは異なる場合がある。
図1及び図2に示すように、電線14は、芯線16と、芯線16の外周を被覆する絶縁被覆17とを有している。電線14の長さ方向の端部では、絶縁被覆17が皮剥きされて芯線16が露出した状態とされている。芯線16には、例えば、複数の金属素線を撚り合わせてなる撚り線などを用いることができる。また、芯線16を形成する金属材料としては、例えばアルミニウム系や銅系の金属材料を用いることができる。また、芯線16及び絶縁被覆17は、例えば、押出成形によって形成されている。
そして、図2に示すように、補強材30は、断面四角形をなす端子取付孔12の内面のうちの3つの面に当接している。詳しくは、上記のように、固定部22の各かしめ片24,25の自由端24a,25a側を端子付き電線13の上側としたときに、端子取付孔12の上側の面と左右の面にそれぞれ補強材30が当接している。
電線14における被保持領域Xを含む部位から端子15の後端部までの領域において、絶縁被覆17の外周面に補強材30が塗布されている。これにより、電線14の補強材30が塗布された部位が肉厚となり、曲げに対する剛性が向上される。従って、被保持領域Xを保持して、端子付き電線13の端子15を含む端部を端子取付孔12に挿入するときに、被保持領域Xから端子15までの間における電線14の座屈が抑制されるようになっている。
(1)端子付き電線13は、電線14の周方向に沿って、絶縁被覆17の外周面に固着された補強材30と、補強材30が設けられていない非補強部31と、を備える。この構成によれば、組み付け時の電線14の座屈を補強材30によって抑制することが可能となる。特に、近年では、車両の軽量化のために電線14の小径化が望まれているため、補強材30によって電線14の座屈を抑制することが、電線14の小径化を図る上でより重要である。
本実施形態は、以下のように変更して実施することができる。本実施形態及び以下の変更例は、技術的に矛盾しない範囲で互いに組み合わせて実施することができる。
・上記実施形態では、補強材30は、固定部22のかしめ方向D2に沿った方向から絶縁被覆17の外周面に塗布されて形成されたが、これに限らず、かしめ方向D2と直交する方向など、かしめ方向D2に対して交差する方向から補強材30が塗布されていてもよい。

Claims (3)
- 導体からなる芯線、及び前記芯線の外周を被覆する絶縁被覆を有する電線と、
前記電線の長さ方向の端部に接続された端子と、
を備えた端子付き電線であって、
前記電線の周方向に沿って、前記絶縁被覆の外周面に固着された補強材と、前記補強材が設けられていない非補強部と、を備え、
前記補強材は、前記端子の接続に際して保持される前記電線の被保持領域を含む部位から前記端子の後端部までの領域に設けられ、
前記補強材の前端は、前記端子の後端に対して当接する位置、または、前記端子の後端に対して僅かな間隔を空けた位置に設けられている端子付き電線。 - 請求項1に記載の端子付き電線と、
前記端子付き電線の前記端子を含む端部が挿入された端子取付孔を有するハウジングと、を備え、
前記端子取付孔の内部には、挿入された前記端子を抜け止めするための弾性撓み可能な係止片が形成されているコネクタ。 - 前記補強材が前記端子取付孔の内面に当接している、請求項2に記載のコネクタ。
