Abstract
Description
i)均質なMg/Al混合酸化物前駆物質を含む第1の懸濁物(任意にドープされる)を提供するステップ、
ii)第1の懸濁物を乾燥するステップ、
iii)Mg/Al混合酸化物前駆物質をか焼して、か焼Mg/Al混合酸化物を得るステップ、
iv)か焼Mg/Al混合酸化物を再懸濁して、Mg/Al混合酸化物を含む第2の懸濁物を得るステップ、
v)再懸濁されたか焼Mg/Al混合酸化物に、酸化マンガン前駆物質を含む前駆物質をドープして、少なくともマンガンがドープされたMg/Al混合酸化物を形成するステップ、
vi)第2の懸濁物を乾燥するステップ、および
vii)少なくともマンガンがドープされたMg/Al混合酸化物をか焼して、ドープMg/Al混合酸化物を形成するステップ。
支持材料の調製
混合Mg/Al酸化物前駆物質の水性懸濁物(Pural MG20(商標)、MgO含有量20wt.%)を、酢酸セリウム溶液と混合した。噴霧乾燥後、得られた粉末を950℃にて3hか焼して、酸化セリウムドープされた均質なMg/Al混合酸化物を得た。
実施例1と同様に支持材料を調製したが、表Iに示されるとおり、もっと少量の酸化マンガンを用いた。
実施例2と同様に支持材料を調製したが、表Iに示されるとおり、もっと少量の酸化マンガンを用いた。
酸化マンガンの添加なしに、支持材料を調製した。
混合Mg/Al酸化物前駆物質の水性懸濁物(Pural MG20(商標)、MgO含有量20wt.%)を、酢酸セリウム溶液と混合した。噴霧乾燥後、得られた粉末を950℃にて3hか焼して、酸化セリウムドープされた均質なMg/Al混合酸化物を得た。
酸化マンガンの異なる逐次添加を含めて、すなわち当該技術分野において非常に周知である異なるドーププロセスを用いることによって、実施例1と同じ組成を有する支持材料を調製した。
実施例1と同様に支持材料を調製したが、懸濁した酸化セリウムドープされた均質なMg/Al混合酸化物に、酢酸セリウムと酢酸マンガンとの混合溶液を加えた。支持材料の組成は表1に与えられている。
混合Mg/Al酸化物前駆物質の水性懸濁物(Pural MG20(商標)、MgO含有量20wt.%)を、酢酸セリウムおよび酢酸ネオジム溶液と混合した。噴霧乾燥後、得られた粉末を950℃にて3hか焼して、酸化セリウムドープされた均質なMg/Al混合酸化物を得た。粉末を水に再懸濁し、ボールミル粉砕し、酢酸マンガンの溶液と混合した。混合物を噴霧乾燥し、得られた粉末を550℃にて3hか焼した。支持材料の組成は表Iに与えられている。
実施例1〜4ならびに比較例1および2のそれぞれにおいて得られた支持材料を水に懸濁し、3μmのd50が得られるまでボールミル粉砕した。16%の濃度のBaOが得られるように酢酸バリウムの水溶液を加えた後、噴霧乾燥によって粉末を得た。得られた粉末を最初に550℃にて3h焼成し、続いて850℃にて4h熱処理した。当該技術状況の材料がBa化合物に対する支持材料として用いられるとき、この後者の処理はBaAl2O4形成を誘発することが見出されている。次いで、これらのサンプルをX線回折によって調査し、特に40°2シータ近くでのBaAl2O4の反射の発生を評価した。表IIはその結果をまとめたものである。
調製プロセスは、ル・フックの開示と同じであった。均質なMg/Al混合酸化物にCe、MnおよびBaを同時に添加して、実施例1と同じ組成物を得た。

Claims (15)
- 支持材料を作製する方法であって、以下のステップ、すなわち
i)均質なMg/Al混合酸化物前駆物質を含む第1の懸濁物を提供するステップと、
ii)前記第1の懸濁物を乾燥するステップと、
iii)前記Mg/Al混合酸化物前駆物質をか焼して、か焼Mg/Al混合酸化物を得るステップと、
iv)前記か焼Mg/Al混合酸化物を再懸濁して、前記Mg/Al混合酸化物を含む第2の懸濁物を得るステップと、
v)前記再懸濁されたか焼Mg/Al混合酸化物に、酸化マンガン前駆物質を含む前駆物質をドープして、少なくともマンガンがドープされたMg/Al混合酸化物を形成するステップと、
vi)前記第2の懸濁物を乾燥するステップと、
vii)少なくともマンガンがドープされた前記Mg/Al混合酸化物をか焼して、ドープMg/Al混合酸化物を形成するステップと
を含む、方法。 - 前記第1の懸濁物中の前記均質な混合Mg/Al混合酸化物前駆物質を、セリウムベースの酸化物前駆物質と一緒にするさらなるステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記均質な混合Mg/Al混合酸化物前駆物質を含む前記第1の懸濁物を、セリウムベースの酸化物前駆物質および(セリウム以外の)希土類酸化物前駆物質と一緒にするさらなるステップを含む、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記希土類酸化物前駆物質は、酸化ランタン、または酸化プラセオジム、または酸化ネオジム、または酸化イットリウム、あるいはその混合物を含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記均質なMg/Al混合酸化物前駆物質内の、MgOとして算出される酸化マグネシウムの量は、各場合に前記ドープMg/Al混合酸化物に対して1wt.%から40wt.%の範囲、好ましくは10wt.%から30wt.%の範囲である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の懸濁物および前記第2の懸濁物の前記懸濁媒体は水である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記セリウムベースの酸化物前駆物質および/または(セリウム以外の)前記希土類酸化物前駆物質は、酢酸塩、硝酸塩、水和酸化物、水酸化物、オキシ水和物、および炭酸塩を含む群の1つまたはそれ以上のメンバーから選択される、請求項2から4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- ステップv)の酸化マンガン前駆物質を含む前記前駆物質は、排他的に酸化マンガン前駆物質からなる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記再懸濁されたMg/Al混合酸化物に添加された酸化マンガン前駆物質の量は、前記ドープMg/Al混合酸化物に対してMnO2として算出された5%wt.から20%wt.である、請求項1または8に記載の方法。
- 酸化マンガン前駆物質を含むステップv)の前記前駆物質は、酸化マンガン前駆物質と酸化セリウム前駆物質との混合物を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- (セリウム以外の)希土類酸化物前駆物質は、前記酸化マンガン前駆物質および前記酸化セリウム前駆物質とともに前記第2の懸濁物に添加される、請求項1または10に記載の方法。
- ステップv)において、セリウムベースの酸化物前駆物質および/または(セリウム以外の)希土類酸化物前駆物質は、前記酸化マンガン前駆物質と同時に添加される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の懸濁物および/または前記第2の懸濁物を前記乾燥するステップは、噴霧乾燥を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載の方法に従って得ることができる、支持材料。
- 850℃にて4hの熱エージング処理の後にBaAl2O4を含まない、請求項14に記載の支持材料。
