Abstract
Description
図1に示すように、ECU1(電子制御装置)は、マイコン2およびSBC3(システムベースチップ)を備えている。ECU1は、車両のバッテリ4から供給される電力(バッテリ電圧)により駆動することで、車両で行われる各種の制御を実行する。ECU1は、CAN/LIN通信バス5を介して他の車載ECUとの間で通信を行う。ECU1と他の車載ECUとの間の通信プロトコルとしては、一例として、CAN(Controller Area Network)通信およびLIN(Local interconnect Network)通信が採用されている。また、マイコン2とSBC3とは、互いに通信を行う。マイコン2とSBC3との間の通信プロトコルとしては、一例として、SPI(シリアル・ペリフェラル・インターフェース)通信が採用されている。
図2に示すように、ECU1(制御部21)は、レギュレータ32が電源を遮断してもよいか否かを判定する(ステップS1)。すなわち、制御部21は、レギュレータ32を操作することにより、バッテリ4からマイコン2への給電状態を非給電状態にすることにより、消費電力を低減してもよい状況であるか否かを判定する。
(1)比較例として、マイコン2に強制電源遮断判定部25が設けられていない(図2のステップS5が設けられていない)場合、マイコン2の通信エラーなどの故障が発生した場合には、マイコン2は何ら給電を必要とする制御対象がないにも関わらず、図2のステップS1がYESにならないおそれがある。この場合、実際にはバッテリ4からマイコン2への電源の供給を遮断できる状況であるにも関わらず、マイコン2に電源が供給され続けるため、バッテリ4の消費電力を低減することができない。
・本実施形態では、マイコン2のSPI通信部23とSBC3のSPI通信部33との間のSPI通信によって電源遮断要求を送信したが、SPI通信に限らず、CAN通信などの他の通信プロトコルを用いてもよい。
Claims (3)
- 互いに通信を行う第1の制御装置と第2の制御装置とを有する電子制御装置であって、
前記第1の制御装置は、バッテリから自身への電力の供給を遮断できる状態か否かを判定する第1の制御部を有し、
前記第2の制御装置は、前記バッテリと前記第1の制御装置との間に設けられ、前記バッテリから前記第1の制御装置へ供給される電力を一定に保つレギュレータと、前記レギュレータを操作する第2の制御部と、を有し、
前記第1の制御装置および前記第2の制御装置の少なくとも一方には、前記第1の制御部によって電力の供給を遮断できない状態である旨判定されたとき、強制的に電力の供給を遮断できるか否かを判定し、前記第2の制御部にその旨通知する判定部をさらに備え、
前記第2の制御部は、強制的に電力の供給を遮断できる旨の通知を受け取ったとき、前記レギュレータを操作することにより、前記バッテリから前記第1の制御装置への電力の供給を遮断する電子制御装置。 - 請求項1に記載の電子制御装置において、
前記判定部は、前記第1の制御装置と前記第2の制御装置との間で行われる通信の状況に基づいて、強制的に電力の供給を遮断する電子制御装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載の電子制御装置において、
前記判定部は、前記第1の制御装置と前記第2の制御装置との間で行われる通信が停止した後、一定時間が経過したときに、強制的に電力の供給を遮断できる旨判定する電子制御装置。
