Abstract
【解決手段】トレッド部1に、タイヤ周方向に延びる複数本の主溝9と、主溝9により区画された複数列のリブ10とを備えた空気入りタイヤにおいて、複数列のリブ10のうち少なくとも一つのリブ10にタイヤ幅方向に延びる複数本のサイプ11を有し、サイプ11は少なくとも一方のエッジ12a,12bに面取り部14を有する面取りサイプ12とエッジに面取り部を有しない非面取りサイプ13からなり、面取りサイプ12はリブ10内で一端部12cが終端する一方で他端部12dがリブ10の両側に位置する主溝9の一方に連通し、リブ10の両側に位置する主溝9のそれぞれに連通した面取りサイプ12がタイヤ周方向に交互に配置され、非面取りサイプ13は面取りサイプ12の少なくともタイヤ周方向の片側に隣接して配置されている。

Description
各試験タイヤをリムサイズ15×6Jのホイールに組み付けて、排気量1500ccの前輪駆動車に装着し、空気圧230kPaとして、水深2mmのウエット路面において初速80km/hから完全停止までの制動距離の測定を実施した。評価結果は、測定値の逆数を用い、従来例を100とする指数にて示した。この指数値が大きいほどウエット路面での制動性能が優れていることを意味する。

Claims (10)
- トレッド部に、タイヤ周方向に延びる複数本の主溝と、該主溝により区画された複数列のリブとを備えた空気入りタイヤにおいて、
前記複数列のリブのうち少なくとも一つのリブにタイヤ幅方向に延びる複数本のサイプを有し、該サイプは少なくとも一方のエッジに面取り部を有する面取りサイプとエッジに面取り部を有しない非面取りサイプからなり、前記面取りサイプは前記リブ内で一端部が終端する一方で他端部が前記リブの両側に位置する主溝のいずれか一方に連通し、該リブの両側に位置する主溝のそれぞれに連通した面取りサイプがタイヤ周方向に交互に配置され、前記非面取りサイプは前記面取りサイプの少なくともタイヤ周方向の片側に隣接して配置されていることを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記非面取りサイプのうち前記面取りサイプに最も近接する非面取りサイプと前記面取りサイプとのタイヤ周方向の距離L1が2mm〜15mmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記面取りサイプの深さCdと前記非面取りサイプの深さNdとが1<Nd/Cd≦1.5の関係を満たすことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記面取りサイプのタイヤ周方向に対する傾斜角度θCと前記非面取りサイプのタイヤ周方向に対する傾斜角度θNとがθC−30°≦θN≦θC+30°の関係を満たすことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記非面取りサイプが前記面取りサイプのタイヤ周方向の両側に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記非面取りサイプの幅が底部から開口部に向かって徐々に広くなることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記面取りサイプの接地面での開口部の幅Cwが1.6mm〜4.8mmであることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記面取りサイプの延在方向に対して直交する断面視において前記面取り部の断面形状が矩形であることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記非面取りサイプが前記リブをタイヤ幅方向に貫通していることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- トレッドプロファイルを成す円弧の曲率半径TRと前記面取りサイプを有するリブの外輪郭線の曲率半径RRとがTR>RRの関係を満たすことを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
