Abstract
Description
リムサイズ22.5×8.25のホイールにタイヤを組み付けて空気圧を760kPa(TRA規定内圧)とし、速度80km/h、荷重27.5kN(TRA100%荷重)の条件で走行試験を実施して、ショルダー陸部の端部に発生した偏摩耗の幅を測定した。比較例1の結果を100としたときの指数を逆数で示し、数値が大きいほど偏摩耗が抑制され、耐偏摩耗性に優れていることを示す。
4本の主溝により5つの陸部に区画されたトレッドを有するタイヤ(サイズ:295/75R22.5)において、ショルダー陸部(におけるメイン陸部)の形状を異ならせ、比較例1〜3及び実施例1〜3とした。これら以外のタイヤの構成は、各例において共通である。比較例1は、図6のように、メイン陸部の接地面の輪郭が、曲率半径R1を有する単一の円弧で形成されたものである。評価結果を表1に示す。

Claims (2)
- タイヤ周方向に延びる細溝がトレッドのショルダー陸部に形成され、
前記ショルダー陸部が、前記細溝によって、トレッドセンター側のメイン陸部とトレッド端側の犠牲陸部とに区画された空気入りタイヤにおいて、
前記細溝の溝底部がトレッドセンター側の溝壁を窪ませて形成されており、
前記メイン陸部の接地面の輪郭が、トレッドセンター側の第1円弧と、トレッド端側の第2円弧とにより形成されていて、前記第1円弧の曲率半径R1よりも前記第2円弧の曲率半径R2の方が大きく、
前記細溝のトレッドセンター側の溝壁を基準とした溝底部の窪み幅dに対する、前記メイン陸部のトレッド端側エッジから前記第1円弧と前記第2円弧との境界までの距離Wの比W/dが、2≦W/d≦6の関係を満たすことを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記曲率半径R1に対する前記曲率半径R2の比R2/R1が、1.5≦R2/R1≦2.5の関係を満たす請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
