Claims (35)
- 照明装置であって、
光源と、
前記光源に熱的に接続された複数のヒートパイプと、
前記ヒートパイプに熱的に接続された熱交換手段と、
前記ヒートパイプ及び前記熱交換手段で形成された、前記光源を支持する構造と、
を備えることを特徴とする照明装置。 - 前記照明装置は、前記光源の局所の熱質量が最小化されるとともに、前記光源と前記ヒートパイプとの間の熱経路が最小化されるように構成される、
請求項1に記載の照明装置。 - 前記光源は、発光側と、前記ヒートパイプと熱的に連通する熱伝導側とを有し、前記ヒートパイプは、前記発光側の発光領域に対応する前記熱伝導側の領域と実質的に整列する、
請求項1又は2に記載の照明装置。 - 前記発光側の前記発光領域に対応する前記熱伝導側の前記領域は、全体が前記ヒートパイプと整列する、
請求項3に記載の照明装置。 - 前記ヒートパイプは、各ヒートパイプが隣接するヒートパイプと直接熱的に接触して前記光源の前記発光領域を取り囲む領域と少なくとも同じ領域を形成するようにアレイを形成する、
請求項4に記載の照明装置。 - 前記光源は、前記ヒートパイプのみによって前記熱交換手段と熱的に連通する、
請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の照明装置。 - 前記ヒートパイプは、実質的に平面状の取付面を提供するように構成される、
請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の照明装置。 - 前記ヒートパイプは互いに接合され、該接合されたヒートパイプは、連続的で実質的に平面状の取付面を提供するように構成される、
請求項7に記載の照明装置。 - 前記ヒートパイプは、前記光源を支持する、
請求項1から8のいずれかに記載の照明装置。 - 前記光源は、前記ヒートパイプの一端に配置される、
請求項1から9のいずれかに記載の照明装置。 - 前記照明装置は、前記光源を前記ヒートパイプに接続する熱伝導性取付板をさらに備える、
請求項1から10のいずれかに記載の照明装置。 - 前記熱交換手段は、前記取付板とは異なる材料で形成される、
請求項11に記載の照明装置。 - 前記熱交換手段は、複数の実質的に平面状のフィンを含む、
請求項1から12のいずれかに記載の照明装置。 - 各フィンは、隣接するフィン上の対応する係合手段と係合できる係合手段を含む、
請求項13に記載の照明装置。 - 前記係合手段は、前記隣接するフィンのタブを受け入れて該タブと係合するように構成されたタブである、
請求項14に記載の照明装置。 - 前記タブは、前記隣接するフィンの前記タブ上の対応する縁部プロファイルと係合可能な縁部プロファイルを含む、
請求項15に記載の照明装置。 - 前記係合手段は、各フィンの少なくとも1つの角部に配置される、
請求項14から16のいずれかに記載の照明装置。 - 前記係合手段は、前記構造に接続するようにさらに構成される、
請求項14から17のいずれかに記載の照明装置。 - 前記フィン間の間隔と、前記フィンの高さとの比率は、1:13〜1:3.2である、
請求項13から18のいずれかに記載の照明装置。 - 前記フィン間の間隔と、前記フィンの高さとの比率は、約1:5.5である、

請求項22から24のいずれかに記載の照明装置。 - 前記支持フレームは、前記熱交換手段の縁部又は角部に接続する細長部材を含む、
請求項22から25のいずれかに記載の照明装置。 - 前記細長部材は、前記熱交換手段に設けられた対応する手段と係合するように構成される、
請求項26に記載の照明装置。 - 前記支持フレームは、前記細長部材に実質的に垂直な少なくとも1つの交差支持部材を含む、
請求項26から27のいずれかに記載の照明装置。 - 前記少なくとも1つの交差支持部材は、前記細長部材の内向きのプロファイルに対応して該プロファイルに係合するように構成された接続手段を含む、
請求項28に記載の照明装置。 - 前記少なくとも1つの交差支持部材のうちの1つは、前記少なくとも1つのヒートパイプの前記光源に対応する部分を覆う実質的に平面状の部分を含む、
請求項28又は29に記載の照明装置。 - 前記ヒートパイプの少なくともいくつかは、最初に光源から軸に沿って延び、該軸から離れて曲がり、前記最初に沿って延びていた前記軸の方に再び曲げ戻されることにより、前記熱交換手段を通じて互いに平行に、かつ前記最初に沿って延びていた前記軸に平行に延びるようになる、
請求項1から30のいずれかに記載の照明装置。 - 前記熱交換手段は、前記ヒートパイプとは異なる材料で形成される、
請求項1から31のいずれかに記載の照明装置。 - 前記照明装置は、空間内に懸架されるように構成され、前記熱交換手段は、前記照明装置が懸架された前記空間の空気に曝される、
請求項1から32のいずれかに記載の照明装置。 - 前記照明装置は、前記照明装置が懸架されたケーブルに接続するように構成された支持手段を含み、該支持手段は、前記ヒートパイプ及び前記熱交換手段の一方に取り付けられる、
請求項33に記載の照明装置。 - 前記光源は、少なくとも1つのLED、少なくとも1つのLEDアレイ、少なくとも1つのOLED、少なくとも1つのOLEDアレイ、少なくとも1つのレーザダイオード、及び少なくとも1つのレーザダイオードアレイのうちの1つを含む、
