Abstract
【解決手段】左右1対の灯具モジュール20L、20Rの各々を、4つの第1光源32Aを有する第1灯具ユニット22Aと、単一の第2光源32Bを有する第2灯具ユニット22Bとを備えた構成とした上で、4つの第1光源32Aのうち1または2以上を選択的に点灯させることによって横長の第1配光パターンまたはその一部を形成する構成とする。その上で、第2光源32Bの点灯によって第1配光パターンよりも小さくて明るい第2配光パターンを形成し、これらを合成することによって両者の重畳部分を高光度領域として形成する構成とする。その際、第1および第2灯具ユニット22A、22Bを左右方向に回動し得る構成とし、高光度領域を車両走行状況に応じて左右方向に変位可能とする。

上記第1灯具ユニットは、上記複数の第1光源のうち1または2以上の第1光源が選択的に点灯することによって、横長の第1配光パターンまたは該第1配光パターンの一部を形成するように構成されており、
上記第2灯具ユニットは、上記第2光源が点灯することによって、上記第1配光パターンよりも小さくて明るい第2配光パターンを形成するように構成されており、
上記第1および第2灯具ユニットのうち少なくとも第2灯具ユニットは、左右方向に回動し得るように構成されている、ことを特徴とするものである。

Claims (5)
- 複数の第1光源を有する第1灯具ユニットを備えた車両用灯具において、
第2光源を有する第2灯具ユニットを備えており、
上記第1灯具ユニットは、上記複数の第1光源のうち1または2以上の第1光源が選択的に点灯することによって、横長の第1配光パターンまたは該第1配光パターンの一部を形成するように構成されており、
上記第2灯具ユニットは、上記第2光源が点灯することによって、上記第1配光パターンよりも小さくて明るい第2配光パターンを形成するように構成されており、
上記第1および第2灯具ユニットのうち少なくとも第2灯具ユニットは、左右方向に回動し得るように構成されている、ことを特徴とする車両用灯具。 - 上記各第1光源として発光ダイオードが用いられるとともに、上記第2光源としてレーザダイオードが用いられている、ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用灯具。
- 上記第1および第2灯具ユニットは、左右方向に一体的に回動し得るように構成されている、ことを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の車両用灯具。
- 上記第1灯具ユニットは、上記複数の第1光源からの光を車両前方へ向けて反射させるリフレクタを備えており、
上記複数の第1光源は、車幅方向に並んで配置されている、ことを特徴とする請求項1〜3いずれか記載の車両用灯具。 - 上記第1および第2灯具ユニットを2組備えている、ことを特徴とする請求項1〜4いずれか記載の車両用灯具。
