Abstract
Description
(1)HTEPN(hexatrifluoroethoxycyclotriphosphazene)化合物の製造
フルオロエチルカーボネート(fluorine ethylene carbonate、FEC)5重量%をさらに混合したことを除き、前記実施例1と同様な方法で実施して、リチウム二次電池用難燃性電解液を製造した。
難燃性溶媒の代わりにリチウム塩(LiPF6)及びエチレンカーボネート/エチルメチルカーボネート/ジメチルカーボネート(体積比30/40/30)混合溶媒のみを混合したことを除き、前記実施例1と同様な方法で実施して、リチウム二次電池用電解液を製造した。
難燃性溶媒の代わりにTMP(trimethyl phosphate)を混合したことを除き、前記実施例1と同様な方法で実施して、リチウム二次電池用難燃性電解液を製造した。
難燃性溶媒の代わりにDMMP(dimethyl methylphosphonate)を混合したことを除き、前記実施例1と同様な方法で実施して、リチウム二次電池用難燃性電解液を製造した。
難燃性溶媒の代わりにTMSP(tris(trimethylsilyl)phosphate)を単独で混合したことを除き、前記実施例1と同様な方法で実施して、リチウム二次電池用難燃性電解液を製造した。
難燃性溶媒の代わりにHTEPN(hexatrifluoroethoxycyclotriphosphazene)を単独で混合したことを除き、前記実施例1と同様な方法で実施して、リチウム二次電池用難燃性電解液を製造した。
難燃性溶媒の代わりにビニルカーボネート(vinyl carbonate、VC)を混合したことを除き、前記実施例1と同様な方法で実施して、リチウム二次電池用難燃性電解液を製造した。
前記実施例1で使われる難燃性電解液に対して可燃性(flammability)実験を実施し、その結果を下記表1及び図1に示す。具体的に、前記実施例1の難燃性溶媒に対して、HTEPNをそれぞれ0、0.5、5、10重量%添加した後、難燃性実験を実施した。
前記実施例1で使われる難燃性電解液に対して熱安定性(DSC)実験を実施し、その結果を下記表2及び図2に示す。具体的に、前記実施例1の難燃性溶媒に対してHTEPNをそれぞれ0、0.5、5、10重量%添加した後、熱安定性実験を実施した。
前記実施例1、2及び比較例1〜6で製造されたリチウム二次電池用難燃性電解液を用いて次のような方法でリチウム二次電池を製造した。
前記実施例1及び比較例1、2及び3の難燃性電解液から製造されたリチウム二次電池に対し、化成充放電後、正極ハーフセルのインピーダンスを測定し、その結果を図4に示す。
前記実施例1、2及び比較例1、4〜6のリチウム二次電池用難燃性電解液から製造されたリチウム二次電池に対し、黒鉛/LNMOフルセル常温寿命特性を評価し、その結果は図5に示した。このような評価は、電解液の特性を確認するための評価で、正極寿命特性だけではなく負極ハーフセル性能を同時に満足させるとき、二次電池の性能を低下させないこともできる。
Claims (11)
- 前記リチウム塩は、LiPF6、LiBF4、LiSbF6、LiAsF6、LiCF3SO3、LiN(SO2C2F5)2、Li(CF3SO2)2N、LiC4F9SO3、LiB(C6H5)4、LiClO4、LiAlO4、LiAlCl4、LiN(CxF2x+1SO2)(CyF2y+1SO2)(ここで、x及びyは自然数)、LiCl及びLiIからなる群から選択される1種以上のものであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用難燃性電解液。
- 前記カーボネート系溶媒は、エチレンカーボネート、エチルメチルカーボネート、ジメチルカーボネート及びジエチルカーボネートからなる群から選択される1種以上のものであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用難燃性電解液。
- 前記難燃性溶媒は、前記リン化合物5〜20重量%及び前記フォスフェート系化合物0.1〜2重量%を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用難燃性電解液。
- 前記フォスフェート系化合物は、トリス(トリメチルシリル)フォスフェート化合物であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用難燃性電解液。
- 前記リチウム二次電池用難燃性電解液は、前記リチウム塩15〜25重量%、前記カーボネート系溶媒65〜84重量%及び前記難燃性溶媒1〜10重量%を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用難燃性電解液。
- 前記リチウム二次電池用難燃性電解液は、前記難燃性電解液100重量%を基準に被膜形成剤1〜5重量%をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用難燃性電解液。
- 前記被膜形成剤は、フルオロエチレンカーボネート、ビニルカーボネート又はこれらの混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載のリチウム二次電池用難燃性電解液。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれかのリチウム二次電池用難燃性電解液を含むことを特徴とする、リチウム二次電池。
