Abstract
【解決手段】電池監視装置は、複数の電池セルCiそれぞれに電圧検出ラインL1を介して接続され、電池セルCiの電圧を検出するIC34と、第一FET36を備え、複数の電池セルCiそれぞれごとに設けられ、対応する電池セルCiと並列に接続された第一均等化回路と、電圧検出ラインL1に設けられた過電流防止用の抵抗素子R2と、第二FET38を備え、複数の電池ブロックBnそれぞれの電圧を均等化させるべく、複数の電池ブロックBnそれぞれごとに設けられ、対応する電池ブロックBnと並列に接続される第二均等化回路と、前記第一、第二FET36,38の駆動を制御するコントローラと、を備え、第二均等化回路は、抵抗素子R2よりも電池ブロックBn側に接続される。

Claims (5)
- 複数の電池ブロックを直列接続した電池ユニットであって、それぞれの電池ブロックが複数の電池セルを直列接続して構成される電池ユニットを監視する電池監視装置であって、
前記複数の電池セルそれぞれに電圧検出ラインを介して接続され、前記電池セルの電圧を検出する電圧検出回路と、
少なくとも第一スイッチング素子を備えた回路であって、前記複数の電池セルそれぞれの電圧を均等化させるべく、前記複数の電池セルそれぞれごとに設けられ、対応する電池セルと並列に接続された第一均等化回路と、
前記電圧検出ラインに設けられた過電流防止用の抵抗素子と、
少なくとも第二スイッチング素子を備えた回路であって、前記複数の電池ブロックそれぞれの電圧を均等化させるべく、前記複数の電池ブロックそれぞれごとに設けられ、対応する電池ブロックと並列に接続される第二均等化回路と、
前記第一、第二スイッチング素子の駆動を制御するコントローラと、
を備え、
前記第二均等化回路は、前記過電流防止用の抵抗素子よりも電池ブロック側に接続される、
ことを特徴とする電池監視装置。 - 請求項1に記載の電池監視装置であって、さらに、
電池ブロックごとに設けられ、前記電圧検出回路が内蔵されたICを有し、
前記第二スイッチング素子は、前記ICの外部に取り付けられた外付けスイッチング素子である、
ことを特徴とする電池監視装置。 - 請求項2に記載の電池監視装置であって、
前記第一スイッチング素子は、前記ICに内蔵された内蔵スイッチング素子である、ことを特徴とする電池監視装置。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の電池監視装置であって、さらに、
前記第二スイッチング素子に並列に接続された分圧回路であって、当該第二スイッチング素子の両端電圧に比例した電圧値を取り出す分圧回路を備え、
前記コントローラは、前記分圧回路で取り出された電圧値に基づいて、前記第二スイッチング素子の故障の有無を判定する、
ことを特徴とする電池監視装置。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の電池監視装置であって、さらに、
前記第二スイッチング素子に流れる電流によりオンされる第三スイッチング素子を含む検知回路を有し、
前記コントローラは、前記検知回路から出力される電圧に基づいて前記第二スイッチング素子の故障の有無を判定する、
ことを特徴とする電池監視装置。
