Claims (4)
- シート搬送路に対して一方側に配置された加熱回転体及び前記シート搬送路に対して他方側に配置され前記加熱回転体に圧接された加圧回転体を含み、予め定められた第1の線速度で回転することによりシートを挟持して搬送する定着部と、
前記定着部よりもシートの搬送方向の下流側に設けられ、互いに圧接するように前記シート搬送路を挟んで対向するように配置された一対のローラー対を含み、前記第1の線速度よりも速い第2の線速度で回転することによりシートを挟持して搬送する第1搬送部と、
前記第1搬送部よりも前記搬送方向の下流側に設けられ、前記定着部におけるニップ部と前記第1搬送部におけるニップ部とを通る第1基準線よりも前記加熱回転体側に設けられ、前記第1の線速度よりも速い第3の線速度でシートを搬送する第2搬送部と、
前記ローラー対のいずれか一方のローラーを他方のローラーへ付勢する付勢部材と、
前記付勢部材によって付勢されたいずれか前記一方のローラーを前記他方のローラーから離れる離間方向へ移動可能に支持し、前記第2搬送部によるシートの搬送時に当該シートから前記一方のローラーに付与される前記離間方向の力を受けて前記一方のローラーを前記第1基準線よりも前記離間方向へ退避させるよう構成された離間支持機構と、を備える画像形成装置。 - 前記加圧回転体は、前記加熱回転体よりも柔軟な材質で構成されており、前記加熱回転体に圧接されたときに内側円弧状に凹まされた前記ニップ部を形成し、
前記第1搬送部は、前記定着部の前記ニップ部における前記搬送方向の両端部を通る第2基準線よりも前記加圧回転体側に設けられており、
前記離間支持機構は、少なくとも、前記一方のローラーを前記第2基準線まで退避させるよう構成されている請求項1に記載の画像形成装置。 - 前記定着部における前記ニップ部の圧接力は、前記第1搬送部における前記ニップ部の圧接力よりも大きい請求項1又は2に記載の画像形成装置。
- 前記第2搬送部は、互いに圧接するように前記シート搬送路を挟んで対向するように配置された一対のローラー対を含み、前記第2搬送部におけるニップ部の圧接力は、前記第1搬送部における前記ニップ部の圧接力よりも大きい請求項3に記載の画像形成装置。
