Abstract
【解決手段】カテーテル1では、ブレードを構成する素線の引張強度が、第一素線の方が第二素線よりも高くなっている。そのため、カテーテル1の先端が分岐点で細管(側枝)の入り口付近に引っ掛かった場合でも、手技者がカテーテル1を第一素線の巻回方向と同じ方向に回転させると、コイルとして機能する第一素線が締まってカテーテルシャフト10の湾曲部14を細く変形させることができ、カテーテル1の進行方向を太管(主枝)から細管(側枝)に変更させることが容易になる。

Claims (3)
- 本体部と、前記本体部から先端側に延びた湾曲部と、からなるカテーテルシャフト、を備えたカテーテルであって、
前記カテーテルシャフトには、引張強度の高い第一素線と引張強度の低い第二素線とで編み込まれたブレードが埋設されており、
前記カテーテルシャフトの後端から見ると、前記湾曲部は、前記第一素線の巻回方向に沿うように円弧を描いていることを特徴としたカテーテル。 - 前記湾曲部は、
第一方向に湾曲する第一湾曲部を介して前記本体部から傾斜した方向に延びた第一傾斜部と、
前記第一方向とは異なる方向である第二方向に湾曲する第二湾曲部を介して前記第一傾斜部から傾斜し、かつ、先端方向に延びた第二傾斜部と、
を有していることを特徴とした請求項1に記載のカテーテル。 - 前記第二湾曲部は、前記第一湾曲部よりも強く湾曲しており、頂点になっていることを特徴とした請求項1又は請求項2に記載のカテーテル。
