Abstract
【解決手段】カテーテルの本体は、内層、編組体、外層から構成される。編組体は、第一素線26aと第二素線26bから構成される。第一素線の先端が第二素線の側面に巻きつくように覆うことで、第一素線と第二素線とを接合することができる。接合部100は、交点の位置に形成される接合部と、第一素線26aの幅方向Nを超えた位置に形成される接合部120と、第二素線26bの幅方向N´を超えた位置に形成される接合部130から構成される。そのため、編組体をダウンサイズ化するために、第一素線26aの厚さ及び第二素線26bの厚さを薄くした場合でも、接合部120の面積や接合部130厚さを増やすことで、第一素線26aと第二素線26bとの接合強度を確保することができる。

Claims (5)
- 樹脂からなる内層と、
前記内層の外周に設けられ、第一素線と第二素線とで形成された編組体と、
前記編組体の外周に設けられた樹脂からなる外層と、からなるカテーテルにおいて、
前記第一素線と前記第二素線とは、前記第一素線の先端が前記第二素線の側面を覆う接合部で接合されていることを特徴としたカテーテル。 - 前記接合部における前記第一素線の厚さは、前記接合部以外における前記第一素線の厚さよりも厚いことを特徴とした請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記接合部は、前記第一素線の幅方向を超えた位置に形成されていることを特徴とした請求項1又は請求項2に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第一素線の前記先端は、前記第一素線の軸方向と交差する方向に向いていることを特徴とした請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれかに記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第一素線の材料は、前記第二素線の材料よりも融点が低いことを特徴とした請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれかに記載のカテーテル。
