Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の制御システム20は、吸気通路3に設けられた電動コンプレッサ7と、電動コンプレッサ7を迂回するバイパス通路11と、バイパス通路11に設けられたバイパスバルブ12と、吸気通路3の電動コンプレッサ7より上流側の区間3aと排気通路4とを接続する低圧EGR通路14と、低圧EGR通路14に設けられた低圧EGRバルブ17とを備えた内燃機関1Aに適用される。ECU21は、吸気通路3の特定箇所Psのガス流量が所定量以下になる所定の蓄圧条件が成立した場合に、まずバイパスバルブ12を閉じて電動コンプレッサ7を作動させる蓄圧制御を実行し、蓄圧制御の実行中に開放条件が成立した場合には、低圧EGRバルブ17を開けるとともにバイパスバルブ12を開ける。

Claims (7)
- 吸気通路に設けられたコンプレッサと、
前記コンプレッサを駆動可能な電動機と、
前記吸気通路における前記コンプレッサより上流側の区間と前記コンプレッサより下流側の区間とを接続するバイパス通路と、
前記バイパス通路に設けられたバイパスバルブと、
前記吸気通路の前記コンプレッサより上流側の区間と排気通路とを接続するEGR通路と、
前記EGR通路に設けられたEGRバルブと、を備えた内燃機関に適用される制御システムにおいて、
前記吸気通路の前記コンプレッサより下流側の区間の特定箇所のガス流量が所定量以下になる所定の蓄圧条件が成立した場合に、まず前記バイパスバルブを閉じて前記電動機にて前記コンプレッサを駆動する蓄圧制御を実行し、前記蓄圧制御の実行中に所定の開放条件が成立した場合には前記バイパスバルブを開けるとともに前記EGRバルブが閉じている場合には前記EGRバルブを開ける制御手段を備えている制御システム。 - 前記制御手段は、前記蓄圧条件が成立して、前記電動機にて前記コンプレッサを駆動する場合に、前記コンプレッサ内を通って前記コンプレッサの下流側から上流側にガスが逆流しない範囲で前記コンプレッサよりも下流側の区間にガスが蓄積されるように前記電動機を制御する請求項1に記載の制御システム。
- 前記EGR通路に凝縮水が溜まっているか否か判定する凝縮水判定手段をさらに備え、
前記制御手段は、前記蓄圧条件が成立し、かつ前記凝縮水判定手段が前記EGR通路に凝縮水が溜まっていると判定した場合に、まず前記蓄圧制御を実行し、前記蓄圧制御の実行中に前記開放条件が成立した場合には前記バイパスバルブを開けるとともに前記EGRバルブが閉じていた場合には前記EGRバルブを開ける請求項1又は2に記載の制御システム。 - 前記吸気通路の前記コンプレッサより上流側の区間において前記バイパス通路が接続されている位置よりも上流側であり、かつ前記EGR通路が接続されている位置よりも上流側の部分に、スロットルバルブが設けられ、
前記制御手段は、前記蓄圧条件が成立した場合に前記スロットルバルブを開け、前記蓄圧制御の実行中に前記開放条件が成立した場合に前記スロットルバルブを閉じる請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の制御システム。 - 前記制御手段は、前記蓄圧条件が成立した場合に前記EGRバルブを閉じる請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の制御システム。
- 前記内燃機関は、前記吸気通路の前記コンプレッサより下流側の区間と前記排気通路とを接続する高圧EGR通路をさらに備え、
前記特定箇所には、前記吸気通路の前記コンプレッサより下流側の区間において前記高圧EGR通路が接続されている位置より上流側の箇所が設定されている請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の制御システム。 - 前記内燃機関には、ターボチャージャが設けられ、
前記ターボチャージャのコンプレッサが、前記吸気通路の前記コンプレッサより下流側の区間に設けられ、
前記ターボチャージャのタービンが、前記排気通路に設けられている請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の制御システム。
