Abstract
Description
図1は、本発明の一実施形態を示す空気入りタイヤ(以下、単に「タイヤ」という場合がある)の正規状態におけるタイヤ軸を含む右半分のタイヤ子午線断面図である。正規状態とは、タイヤを正規リムにリム組みし、かつ、正規内圧を充填した無負荷の状態である。以下、特に言及しない場合、タイヤの各部の寸法はこの正規状態で測定された値とする。
先ず、カーカス6とベルト層7とが周方向面26aに巻き付けられたドラム26が、準備される。なお、カーカス6及びベルト層7は、本実施形態の製造装置Tを用いて製造されても良い。
内のベルトプライの幅Wa:320mm
外のベルトプライの幅Wb:310mm
第1プライ及び第3プライの幅Wc:40mm
第2プライの幅Wd:320mm
各テストタイヤが、下記の条件で、直径1.7mの高速走行ドラム試験機にて走行され、トレッド部のショルダー付近に損傷が発生するまでの走行時間と、損傷発生時の表面温度とが測定された。結果は、実測値で表示されている。プライ走行時間は、数値が大きいほど良好である。表面温度は、数値が小さいほど良好である。なお、比較例のタイヤは、3本の帯状プライを用いて、第1プライ乃至第3プライが製造された。

テストの結果が表1に示される。

Claims (7)
- トレッド部からサイドウォール部を経てビード部のビードコアに至るカーカスと、このカーカスのタイヤ半径方向外側かつ前記トレッド部の内部に配されたベルト層と、このベルト層のタイヤ半径方向外側に配されるバンド層とを具えた空気入りタイヤであって、
前記バンド層は、1本又は複数本のバンドコードをトッピングゴムにより被覆した長尺の帯状プライを前記ベルト層のタイヤ半径方向の外側に螺旋状に巻き付けることにより形成されたジョイントレスプライを含み、
前記ジョイントレスプライは、前記帯状プライが、タイヤ赤道と前記ベルト層のタイヤ軸方向の一端側との間に位置する始端から前記ベルト層のタイヤ軸方向の一端上まで巻き付けられた第1プライと、
前記帯状プライが、前記第1プライのタイヤ軸方向の一端上から前記ベルト層のタイヤ軸方向の他端上まで巻き付けられた第2プライと、
前記帯状プライが、前記第2プライのタイヤ軸方向の他端上からタイヤ赤道に向かって前記第2プライのタイヤ軸方向の他端とタイヤ赤道との間の終端まで巻き付けられた第3プライとを含み、
前記帯状プライは、前記第1プライの前記始端から前記第3プライの前記終端まで途切れることなく連続していることを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。 - タイヤ軸方向で隣り合う前記帯状プライの側縁が互いに接している請求項1記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記ジョイントレスプライは、前記帯状プライがタイヤ周方向と平行に巻き付けられた周方向部と、この周方向部に連なりかつタイヤ周方向に対して傾斜する傾斜部とを含んでいる請求項1又は2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記バンド層のタイヤ軸方向の外縁は、前記ベルト層のタイヤ軸方向の外縁と一致している請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記第1プライ及び前記第3プライのタイヤ軸方向の幅は、10〜60mmである請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記帯状プライは、幅が3.0〜15.0mm、厚さが0.6〜1.5mm、及び、バンドコードの66N負荷時の伸度が0.7%〜22.0%である請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載された空気入りタイヤの製造方法であって、
前記帯状プライを前記ベルト層のタイヤ半径方向の外側に螺旋状に巻き付けるバンド層成形工程を含み、
前記バンド層成形工程は、前記第1プライを成形する第1工程と、前記第1工程の後、前記第2プライを成形する第2工程と、前記第2工程の後、前記第3プライを成形する第3工程とを含み、
前記第1プライの前記始端から前記第3プライの前記終端まで連続した前記帯状プライを用いて形成することを特徴とする空気入りタイヤの製造方法。
