Abstract
Description
「炭酸カルシウム」という用語は、本発明の意味では、粉砕もしくは天然炭酸カルシウム(GCC)および/または合成もしくは沈降炭酸カルシウム(PCC)および/または表面修飾炭酸カルシウム(MCC)を指す。「粉砕炭酸カルシウム(GCC)」は、本発明の意味では、天然源、例えば石灰石、大理石もしくはチョークまたはドロマイトから得られた炭酸カルシウムであり、例えばサイクロンまたは分級機による湿式および/または乾式工程による、粉砕、ふるい分けおよび/または分画などの処理によって加工される。「沈降炭酸カルシウム(PCC)」は、本発明の意味では、水性環境における二酸化炭素と石灰との反応後の沈降によって、または水中でのカルシウムおよび炭酸イオンの沈降によって一般に得られる、合成物質である。「表面修飾炭酸カルシウム」(MCC)は、本発明の意味では、天然炭酸カルシウムおよび/または沈降炭酸カルシウムであって、表面処理炭酸カルシウムの調製前にこれを酸および二酸化炭素と反応させることによって得た天然炭酸カルシウムおよび/または沈降炭酸カルシウムを指し、ここで二酸化炭素は、酸処理によってインサイチューで生成される、および/または外部源から供給される。
a)炭化水素含有組成物を提供する工程;
b)少なくとも1つの表面処理炭酸カルシウムを提供する工程;および
c)前記表面処理炭酸カルシウムおよび前記炭化水素含有組成物を含む複合材料を得るために、工程a)の炭化水素含有組成物を工程b)の表面処理炭酸カルシウムと接触させる工程
を含む方法に関する。
本発明の表面処理炭酸カルシウムにより、炭酸カルシウムの脂肪族カルボン酸に接触可能な表面積の少なくとも10%が、5から24個の間の炭素原子を有する少なくとも1つの脂肪族カルボン酸および/またはこれの反応生成物を含むコーティングによって被覆されている。
以下の測定方法は、実施例および特許請求の範囲で与えたパラメータを評価するために使用した。
BET比表面積は、試料を250℃にて30分の期間にわたって加熱することによって調整した後に、窒素を使用して、ISO 9277に従うBET法によって測定した。このような測定の前に、試料を濾過して、すすいで、オーブン内で110℃にて少なくとも12時間乾燥させた。
粒子状材料の重量中央粒径および粒径分布は、沈降法、即ち重力場における沈降挙動の分析によって決定した。測定はSedigraph(商標)5100によって行った。
測定は、OECD 301 Dクローズドボトル試験に従って行った。
測定は、OECD 311に従って行った。
消化汚泥中の有機化合物の嫌気的生分解性は、ガス発生の測定によって行った。
BODは、OECD 301Dに記載されているように評価した。
試料をジエチルエーテルで抽出して、RDS−ANA lab(Report 58072.10)の標準方法に従って、オートシステムXL、パーキンエルマーで分析した。
脂肪族カルボン酸に接触可能な表面積は、Papirer、SchultzおよびTurchiの刊行物(Eur.Polym.J.,Vol.20,No.12,pp.1155−1158,1984)に記載の方法によって決定され得る。
以下の例示的実施例は、好気的および嫌気的試料それぞれについて60日の期間にわたって残留炭化水素化合物を決定することによって、炭化水素含有組成物を結合およびバイオレメディエーションするための、表面処理天然炭酸カルシウム粉末の使用を含む。前記表面処理天然炭酸カルシウム粉末は、表面処理前に1.4μmの重量中央粒径d50値(沈降法により測定)および5.5m2/gの比表面積(窒素およびBET法により測定)を有する。表面処理天然炭酸カルシウムは、ステアリン酸および/またはこれの反応生成物を含むコーティングによって被覆されている。ステアリン酸および/またはステアリン酸の反応生成物は、炭酸カルシウムの乾燥重量に基づいて、コーティング中に0.7重量%の量で存在する。
以下の例示的実施例は、約4℃の温度にて60日の期間にわたって残留炭化水素化合物を決定することによって、海水中の炭化水素含有組成物を結合およびバイオレメディエーションするための、表面処理天然炭酸カルシウム粉末の使用を含む(上の実施例1を参照)。

CaCO3への固定化後の細菌の生存能力の決定
シュードモナス属(Pseudomonas sp.)およびサイクロバクター・グラシンコーラ(Psychobacter glacinola)をCaCO3に固定化し、室温にて31日間保存した。保存後、細菌の生存能力を決定した。
Claims (25)
- 炭化水素含有組成物の総重量に基づいて、少なくとも25%の炭化水素含有組成物の分解率を有する、炭化水素含有組成物を結合およびバイオレメディエーションするための表面処理炭酸カルシウムであって、炭酸カルシウムの脂肪族カルボン酸に接触可能な表面積の少なくとも10%が、5から24個の炭素原子を有する少なくとも1つの脂肪族カルボン酸および/またはこれの反応生成物を含むコーティングによって被覆されている、表面処理炭酸カルシウム。
- 請求項1に記載の表面処理炭酸カルシウムであって、表面処理炭酸カルシウムが粉砕炭酸カルシウムおよび/または沈降炭酸カルシウムおよび/または表面修飾炭酸カルシウム、好ましくは粉砕炭酸カルシウムを含む、表面処理炭酸カルシウム。

- 請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理炭酸カルシウムであって、表面処理炭酸カルシウムが0.1μmから250μmの間の、好ましくは1μmから200μmの間の、より好ましくは1μmから150μmの間の、さらにより好ましくは1μmから100μmの間の、および最も好ましくは3μmから100μmの間の重量中央粒径d50値を有する、表面処理炭酸カルシウム。
- 請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理炭酸カルシウムであって、表面処理炭酸カルシウムのコーティングがペンタン酸、ヘキサン酸、ヘプタン酸、オクタン酸、ノナン酸、デカン酸、ウンデカン酸、ラウリン酸、トリデカン酸、ミリスチン酸、ペンタデカン酸、パルミチン酸、ヘプタデカン酸、ステアリン酸、ノナデカン酸、アラキジン酸、ヘンイコシル酸、ベヘン酸、トリイコシル酸、リグノセリン酸およびこれらの混合物から成る群より選択される少なくとも1つの脂肪族カルボン酸を含み、好ましくは、脂肪族カルボン酸がオクタン酸、デカン酸、ラウリン酸、ミリスチン酸、パルミチン酸、ステアリン酸、アラキジン酸およびこれらの混合物から成る群より選択され、ならびに最も好ましくは、脂肪族カルボン酸がミリスチン酸、パルミチン酸、ステアリン酸およびこれらの混合物から成る群より選択される、表面処理炭酸カルシウム。
- 請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理炭酸カルシウムであって、炭酸カルシウムの脂肪族カルボン酸に接触可能な表面積の少なくとも20%が、好ましくは接触可能な表面積の少なくとも30%が、および最も好ましくは接触可能な表面積の少なくとも50%が、少なくとも1つの脂肪族カルボン酸および/またはこれの反応生成物を含むコーティングによって被覆されている、表面処理炭酸カルシウム。
- 請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理炭酸カルシウムであって、表面処理炭酸カルシウムが炭化水素含有組成物の少なくとも1つの成分を分解することができる少なくとも1つの微生物をさらに含む、表面処理炭酸カルシウム。
- 請求項7に記載の表面処理炭酸カルシウムであって、表面処理炭酸カルシウムに炭化水素含有組成物の少なくとも1つの成分を分解することができる少なくとも1つの微生物が固定化される、表面処理炭酸カルシウム。
- 請求項7または8のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理炭酸カルシウムであって、炭化水素含有組成物の少なくとも1つの成分を分解することができる少なくとも1つの微生物が細菌および/または真菌の少なくとも1つの株から選択される、表面処理炭酸カルシウム。
- 請求項9のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理炭酸カルシウムであって、細菌および/または真菌の少なくとも1つの株が石油分解細菌および/または石油分解真菌の少なくとも1つの株から選択される、表面処理炭酸カルシウム。
- 請求項9または10のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理炭酸カルシウムであって、細菌の少なくとも1つの株がサイクロバクター(Psychrobacter)、シュードモナス(Pseudomonas)、シュードバクテリウム(Pseudobacterium)、アシネトバクター(Acinetobacter)、ビブリオ(Vibrio)、プラノコッカス(Planococcus)、アクチノバクテリウム(Actinobacterium)、アルスロバクター(Arthrobacter)、マリノバクター(Marinobacter)、メチロサイナス(Methylosinus)、メチロモナス(Methylomonas)、メチロバクテリウム(Methylobacterium)、マイコバクテリウム(Mycobacterium)、ノカルディア(Nocardia)、バシラス(Bacillus)、ブレビバクテリウム(Brevibacterium)、マイクロコッカス(Micrococcus)、コリネバクテリウム(Corynebacterium)、サルチナ(Sarcina)、ストレプトマイセス(Streptomyces)、フラボバクテリウム(Flavobacterium)、ザントモナス(Xanthomonas)およびこれらの混合物を含む群より選択され、より好ましくはサイクロバクター・グラシンコーラ(Psychrobacter glacincola)、アシネトバクター・カルコアセチカス(Acinetobacter calcoaceticus)、アシネトバクター・フェカーリス(Acinetobacter faecalis)およびこれらの混合物を含む群より選択される、表面処理炭酸カルシウム。
- 請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理炭酸カルシウムであって、表面処理炭酸カルシウムが粉末形および/または細粒形もしくはスラリ形である、表面処理炭酸カルシウム。
- 請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理炭酸カルシウムであって、表面処理炭酸カルシウムが不織布に包含され、好ましくは表面処理炭酸カルシウムが生分解性不織布に包含されている、表面処理炭酸カルシウム。
- 炭化水素含有組成物を結合およびバイオレメディエーションする方法であって、以下の工程:
a)炭化水素含有組成物を提供する工程;
b)請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載の少なくとも1つの表面処理炭酸カルシウムを提供する工程;および
c)表面処理炭酸カルシウムおよび炭化水素含有組成物の複合材料を得るために、工程a)の炭化水素含有組成物を工程b)の表面処理炭酸カルシウムと接触させる工程;
を含む方法。 - 請求項14に記載の方法であって、炭化水素含有組成物が原油および/またはガソリン、ディーゼル燃料、航空機燃料、油圧オイル、ケロシンおよびこれらの混合物を含む群より選択される石油精製品である、方法。
- 請求項14または15のいずれか一項に記載の方法であって、工程a)の炭化水素含有組成物表面を工程b)の表面処理炭酸カルシウムで少なくとも部分的に被覆することによって、および/または工程a)の炭化水素含有組成物を工程b)の表面処理炭酸カルシウムと混合することによって、工程c)が行われる、方法。
- 請求項14から16のいずれか一項に記載の方法であって、炭化水素含有組成物および表面処理炭酸カルシウムの重量比が10:1から1:100で、より好ましくは1:1から1:50で、さらにより好ましくは1:1から1:25で、最も好ましくは1:1から1:15で、工程c)が行われる、方法。
- 請求項14から17のいずれか一項に記載の方法であって、工程c)で得た複合材料を、炭化水素含有組成物の少なくとも1つの成分を分解できる少なくとも1つの微生物を含む組成物と接触させる工程d)をさらに含む、方法。
- 請求項18に記載の方法であって、炭化水素含有組成物の少なくとも1つの成分を分解することができる少なくとも1つの微生物が細菌および/または真菌の少なくとも1つの株から選択される、方法。

- 請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理炭酸カルシウムの使用であって、炭化水素含有組成物を結合およびバイオレメディエーションするための、使用。
- 請求項23に記載の使用であって、表面処理炭酸カルシウムが土壌、海水、地下水、静水域、海岸線、コンテナおよび/または貯水池で使用される、使用。
- 請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理炭酸カルシウムおよび炭化水素含有組成物を含む、複合材料。
