Description
2つ以上の電池セル又は電池モジュールが電気的に連結されている電源供給部と、
前記電源供給部の異常発生時に電池セル又は電池モジュールの体積膨脹を感知して作動することによって電池パックの一部又は全体に短絡(short−circuit)を誘導する1つ以上の圧力作動スイッチと、
電池パックの短絡発生時に電池パック内の電気的接続を遮断するために、電池セル又は電池モジュールの直列連結部位のうち少なくとも一つの直列連結部位に位置している断電(cut−off)部と、
前記電源供給部の最外側に位置している電極端子と接続して外部デバイスに電源を供給する外部入出力用端子と、
を備える構成となっている。
図4は、本発明のさらに他の実施例に係る電池パックの模式的回路図である。
Claims (14)
- 2つ以上の電池セル又は電池モジュールが電気的に連結されている電源供給部と、
前記電源供給部の異常発生時に電池セル又は電池モジュールの体積膨脹を感知して作動することによって電池パックの一部又は全体に短絡(short−circuit)を誘導する1つ以上の圧力作動スイッチと、
電池パックの短絡発生時に電池パック内の電気的接続を遮断するために、電池セル又は電池モジュールの直列連結部位のうち少なくとも一つの直列連結部位に位置している断電(cut−off)部と、
前記電源供給部の最外側に位置している電極端子と接続して外部デバイスに電源を供給する外部入出力用端子と、
を備えていることを特徴とする、電池パック。 - 前記圧力作動スイッチは、電源供給部のうち少なくとも一つの電池セル又は単位モジュールと電気的に接続していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記圧力作動スイッチは、2個以上からなり、前記電源供給部の最外側にそれぞれ位置していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記2つ以上の圧力作動スイッチは電気的に連結されていることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の電池パック。
- 前記2つ以上の圧力作動スイッチは、ワイヤーハーネスにより相互に電気的に接続していることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の電池パック。
- 前記圧力作動スイッチは、電池セル又は電池モジュールの体積膨脹が設定値以上に増加する際に作動するように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記圧力作動スイッチは、電池セル又は電池モジュールの正常作動条件下で断電状態(OFF)に設定されており、電池セル又は電池モジュールの体積が膨脹する際に通電状態(ON)に切り替わることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池パックは、電源供給部に並列方式で連結された回路をさらに備えており、前記圧力作動スイッチは、前記回路上に位置していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池セル又は電池モジュールの体積膨脹は、電源供給部の過充電又は過電流時に発生することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池セル又は電池モジュールの電極端子はバスバーにより電気的に接続していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記断電部はヒューズからなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池セルは、樹脂層と金属層を含むラミネートシートのケースに電極組立体が内蔵されているパウチ型の電池セルであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 請求項1に記載の電池パックを電源として含むことを特徴とするデバイス。
- 前記デバイスは、電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車、プラグ−インハイブリッド電気自動車又は電力貯蔵装置であることを特徴とする、請求項13に記載のデバイス。
