Claims (13)
- 第1バッテリーセルの第1電極リードと電気的に連結された第1バスバー;
第2バッテリーセルの第2電極リードと電気的に連結された第2バスバー;
前記第1バッテリーセル及び前記第2バッテリーセルの1つ以上の体積増加による膨張力の印加を受けて前記第1バスバー及び前記第2バスバーに向かって移動し、前記第1バスバーと前記第2バスバーとを電気的に連結させて短絡を発生させる短絡部;及び
前記第1電極リード、前記第2電極リード、前記第1バスバー、前記第2バスバー及び前記短絡部の少なくとも一部を収容または支持するカートリッジ;を含むバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記短絡部は、
一端が前記カートリッジの内側に支持されて前記膨張力の逆方向に弾性力を提供する弾性部材;
一端に前記弾性部材の他端と接触して前記弾性部材から前記弾性力の印加を受ける短絡端子を備え、他端の表面に沿って形成されたラックギアを備えるスライドバー;及び
一端に前記ラックギアと歯合して前記スライドバーの他端を支持するピニオンギアを備え、他端が前記第1バッテリーセル及び第2バッテリーセルそれぞれの一端と接触して前記膨張力の印加を受ける膨張力伝達部;を含む、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記スライドバーは、前記第1バッテリーセル及び前記第2バッテリーセルのいずれも体積が増加しない場合、前記弾性力のみの印加を受けて、前記短絡端子が前記第1バッテリーセル及び第2バッテリーセルと離隔する、請求項2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記膨張力伝達部は、前記第1バッテリーセル及び前記第2バッテリーセルの1つ以上の体積が増加する場合、前記膨張力の印加を受けて前記第1バスバー及び前記第2バスバーに向かって移動し、前記印加を受けた膨張力を前記ピニオンギアと歯合した前記ラックギアを通じて前記スライドバーに伝達する、請求項2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記スライドバーは、前記第1バッテリーセル及び前記第2バッテリーセルの1つ以上の体積が増加する場合、前記ピニオンギアと歯合した前記ラックギアを通じて前記膨張力の伝達を受けて前記第1バスバー及び前記第2バスバーに向かって移動する、請求項2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記短絡端子は、前記第1バスバー及び前記第2バスバーと接触して、前記第1バスバーと前記第2バスバーとを電気的に連結させて短絡を発生させる、請求項2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記短絡端子は、伝導性材質で形成される、請求項2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記カートリッジは、内側に前記短絡部の外形に対応する形状の収容空間が形成されて、前記短絡部を内側に収容する、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記収容空間は、弾性部材の復元状態に応じた前記弾性部材の体積に対応するように形成される、請求項8に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記カートリッジは、対面接触して電気的に連結された前記第1電極リード及び前記第1バスバーそれぞれの少なくとも一部を支持し、対面接触して電気的に連結された前記第2電極リード及び前記第2バスバーそれぞれの少なくとも一部を支持する、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記第1バスバー及び前記第2バスバーの少なくとも1つは、短絡が発生した場合、破断して外部との電気的連結を遮断する破断部を含む、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 請求項1〜請求項11のうちいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュールを含むバッテリーパック。
- 請求項1〜請求項11のうちいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュールを含む自動車。
