Claims (10)
- ウルトラコンデンサパッケージのための、単一の導電材料シートで形成された端子プレートにおいて、
前記端子プレートの第1の主表面に実質的に直交する共通の方向に延びる複数のベントタブ、
を有することを特徴とする端子プレート。 - 前記端子プレートが一対のベントタブを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の端子プレート。
- 前記ベントタブが複数の位置決めノッチを有することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の端子プレート。
- 前記シートの厚さが0.01インチ(0.254mm)から0.1インチ(2.54mm)の範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の端子プレート。
- 前記端子プレートの前記第1の主表面が、0.005インチ(0.127mm)から0.05インチ(1.27mm)の厚さを有する、1つ以上の薄化領域を有することを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の端子プレート。
- ウルトラコンデンサパッケージにおいて、
第1のパッケージ端子を有する端壁を有する、内部空間を定めるハウジング、
第2のパッケージ端子を有し、前記内部空間を閉じるために前記ハウジングと嵌合される、エンドキャップ、
前記内部空間に組み込まれた、第1及び第2の電極を含む電極セット、
及び
それぞれが単一の導電材料シートで形成される第1及び第2の端子プレートであって、それぞれの前記端子プレートの主表面に実質的に直交する方向に延びる、それぞれの複数のベントタブを有する第1及び第2の端子プレート、
を有し、
前記第1の端子プレートの第1の主表面は前記第1の電極と電気的に接触しており、
前記第1の端子プレートの前記ベントタブは前記第1のパッケージ端子と電気的に接触しており、
前記第2の端子プレートの第1の主表面は前記第2の電極と電気的に接触しており、
前記第2の端子プレートの前記ベントタブは前記第2のパッケージ端子と電気的に接触している、
ことを特徴とするウルトラコンデンサパッケージ。 - 前記第1の端子プレートの前記第1の主表面が前記第1の電極に溶接され、前記第2の端子プレートの前記第1の主表面が前記第2の電極に溶接されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のウルトラコンデンサパッケージ。
- 前記第1の端子プレートの前記第1の主表面が、前記第1の端子プレートの前記第1の主表面の1つ以上の薄化領域において前記第1の電極に溶接され、前記第2の端子プレートの前記第1の主表面が、前記第2の端子プレートの前記第1の主表面の1つ以上の薄化領域において前記第2の電極に溶接されることを特徴とする請求項6または7に記載のウルトラコンデンサパッケージ。
- 前記第1の端子プレート及び前記第2の端子プレートの前記ベントタブが、前記端壁及び前記エンドキャップに形成されたそれぞれのスロットと滑り態様で嵌合されることを特徴とする請求項6から8のいずれかに記載のウルトラコンデンサパッケージ。
- 前記第1の端子プレート及び前記第2の端子プレートの前記ベントタブが、前記ベントタブのそれぞれの一部が最大で0.1インチ(2.54mm)までノッチを通して延び出すように前記ベントタブに形成された位置決めノッチによって定められる段差が前記端壁及び前記エンドキャップの表面と接触するように、前記端壁及び前記エンドキャップに形成されたそれぞれのスロットと滑り態様で嵌合されることを特徴とする請求項6から9のいずれかに記載のウルトラコンデンサパッケージ。
