Description
本発明は、ベンゾキサジン成分を含有し、高温条件に対する耐熱性および/または促進された硬化速度を示す嫌気硬化性組成物に関する。
嫌気性接着組成物は、一般によく知られている。例えば、R.D.Richの「嫌気性接着剤(Anaerobic Adhesives)」[接着剤技術のハンドブック(Handbook of Adhesive Technology)、1994年、第29巻、467〜79頁、A.PizziおよびK.L.Mittal編、Marcel Dekker、Inc.、New York]、およびその中の参考文献を参照。それらの利用は多数あり、新規の用途が開発され続けている。
環のヘテロ原子に対してベータ位に適切に配置されたチオ尿素置換基を有する縮合環構造(また、2−チオ尿素誘導体としても記載される)として、ベンゾフラン、ベンゾチオフラン、イソベンゾオキサゾール、ベンズピラゾール、ベンズイソキサゾール、ベンズオキサゾール、1,4−ベンズピロン、キノリン、テトラヒドロキノリン、イソキノリン、テトラヒドロイソキノリン、シンノリン、キナゾリン、ナフタピリジン、ベンゾキサジンなどが挙げられる。縮合環構造を有する好ましい活性剤としては、2−キノリルチオ尿素、1−イソキノリルチオ尿素、および2−ナフチリジルチオ尿素が挙げられる。
本発明の嫌気硬化性組成物は、(a)(メタ)アクリレート成分、(b)嫌気硬化誘導組成物、および(c)ベンゾキサジン窒素原子に対して2の位置で置換基がないベンゾキサジン成分、を含む。すなわち、ベンゾキサジン窒素原子に結合した炭素原子は、各々2つの水素原子を有する。
ベンゾキサジン、例えば、PA−BOZと呼ばれる単官能性ベンゾキサジンは、以下のとおり調製することができる。
8つの組成物を調製し、それらの各々は(メタ)アクリレート成分(PEGMAを含む)、および下の表1に重量%で示す他の成分を含む。
前記のように調製した試料配合物を、脱グリースした3/8×16軟鋼ナットおよびボルト組立品5セットに2重塗布し、次いで、室温で約0.25時間、0.5時間、1時間、1.5時間、2時間、4時間および24時間硬化した。硬化時間の後、締結具の破壊強度および優性強度を評価し、それらのデータを下の表2および図1に示す。
最初に、ベンゾキサジン成分を様々な濃度で使用した場合、および使用しない場合のLOCTITE 272を評価して、相対的な加熱強度値を決定した。
Claims (12)
- (a)(メタ)アクリレート成分、
(b)嫌気硬化システム、および
(c)ベンゾキサジン成分、
を含む、嫌気硬化性組成物。 - 前記ベンゾキサジン成分が:
- 前記(メタ)アクリレート成分が、H2C=CGCO2R1によって表され、ここで、Gは、水素、ハロゲンおよび1〜約4個の炭素原子を有するアルキル基からなる群より選択されるものであり、R1は、1〜約16個の炭素原子を有するアルキル、シクロアルキル、アルケニル、シクロアルケニル、アルカリル、アラルキルおよびアリール基からなる群より選択されるものであり、それらは、シラン、シリコン、酸素、ハロゲン、カルボニル、ヒドロキシル、エステル、カルボン酸、尿素、ウレタン、カルバメート、アミン、アミド、硫黄、スルホネートおよびスルホンからなる群より選択されるもので置換されているか、もしくは置換されていないか、または割り込まれているか、もしくは割り込まれていない、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記(メタ)アクリレート成分が、シリコーン(メタ)アクリレート、ポリエチレングリコールジ(メタ)アクリレート、ビスフェノール−A−(メタ)アクリレート、エトキシ化ビスフェノール−A−(メタ)アクリレート、ビスフェノール−F−(メタ)アクリレート、エトキシ化ビスフェノール−F−(メタ)アクリレート、テトラヒドロフラン(メタ)アクリレートおよびジ(メタ)アクリレート、ヒドロキシプロピル(メタ)アクリレート、ヘキサンジオールジ(メタ)アクリレート、およびトリメチロールプロパントリ(メタ)アクリレートからなる群より選択される、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記ベンゾキサジン成分が、強化剤として作用する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記ベンゾキサジン成分が、促進剤として作用する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 請求項1に記載の組成物の反応生成物。
- 嫌気硬化性組成物から反応生成物を調製する方法であって、
請求項1に記載の嫌気硬化性組成物を、所望の基体表面に塗布するステップ、および
前記組成物を嫌気環境に前記組成物を硬化するのに充分な時間曝すステップ、
を含む方法。 - 請求項1に記載の組成物による、2つの合わされた基体の間で形成される接合を構成する、組成物。
