Description
本願は、2009年8月31日に出願された通常の米国特許仮出願第61/238,565号であり、この米国特許仮出願を参照により引用し、その記載内容を本明細書の一部とする。
Claims (21)
- 成形オフサルミックレンズを製造する方法であって、
レンズモールド組立体内に成形されたオフサルミックレンズを用意するステップを有し、前記レンズモールド組立体は、第1のモールド部分及び前記第1のモールド部分に結合された第2のモールド部分を含み、
レンズモールド組立体をパンチャの下に配置するステップを有し、前記パンチャは、先端部を備えた少なくとも1本のパンチピンを有し、
前記パンチャをレンズモールド組立体により構成された筒体内で軸線に沿って動かすステップを有し、
前記第1のモールド部分の表面層を突き通すステップを有し、
前記第2のモールド部分の表面層を押して前記第2のモールド部分を前記第1のモールド部分から分離するステップを有する、方法。 - 前記第1のモールド部分は、凹状レンズ形成面と、第1の軸方向端部及び第2の軸方向端部を備えた壁とを有する雌型モールドである、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記突き通しステップ中、前記第2の軸方向端部を装填パレットによって支持するステップを更に有する、請求項2記載の方法。
- 前記第1のモールド部分は、筒体を構成する壁を有し、前記方法は、前記少なくとも1本のパンチピンを前記第1のモールド部分の前記壁によって構成された前記筒体内で動かして前記表面層を突き通すステップを更に有する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記突き通しステップ中、前記第1のモールド部分の軸方向端部を支持パレットにより支持するステップを更に有する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記突き通しステップに続き、前記第1のモールド部分を前記少なくとも1本のパンチピンから抜き取るステップを更に有する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記第1のモールド部分を抜き取る前記ステップは、前記支持パレットの上方に配置されたストリッパプレートを使用するステップを含む、請求項6記載の方法。
- 前記第1のモールド部分を抜き取る前記ステップは、前記パンチャと共に配置されたストリッパコラムを使用するステップを含む、請求項6記載の方法。
- 前記方法は、次の処理のために前記第1のモールド部分又は前記第2のモールド部分のうちの少なくとも一方を移送するステップを更に有する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記オフサルミックレンズは、コンタクトレンズであり、前記方法は、重合性コンタクトレンズ調合物を前記レンズモールド組立体内に用意するするステップ、前記重合性コンタクトレンズ調合物を前記レンズモールド組立体内で重合して重合成形コンタクトレンズを形成するステップ、前記重合成形コンタクトレンズを前記分離されたモールド部分のうちの一方から分離して分離状態のコンタクトレンズを生じさせるステップ、前記分離状態のコンタクトレンズを液体に接触させるステップ、前記分離状態のコンタクトレンズをコンタクトレンズパッケージ内に配置するステップ、前記コンタクトレンズを前記コンタクトレンズパッケージ内に入れた状態で滅菌して滅菌状態のコンタクトレンズを生じさせるステップ又はこれらステップの組み合わせを更に有する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 成形オフサルミックレンズを製造する方法であって、
レンズモールド組立体内に成形されたオフサルミックレンズを用意するステップを有し、前記レンズモールド組立体は、第1のモールド部分及び前記第1のモールド部分に結合された第2のモールド部分を含み、
パンチ本体の遠位端部を越えて延びる少なくとも1本のパンチピンを有するパンチャを、前記レンズモールド部分のうちの一方を抜き取るためのストリッパ装置の開口部を通って移動させるステップを有し、
前記パンチャが前記レンズモールド組立体を支持するよう構成された支持パレットに達する前に前記移動を停止させるステップを有し、
前記パンチャを前記パンチャが前記ストリッパ装置の前記開口部を通って戻らなければならないようにする位置まで戻すステップを有する、方法。 - オフサルミックレンズモールド組立体の脱型装置であって、
パンチボアを備えたパンチ本体を含むパンチャを有し、
前記パンチボア内に配置されたピン先端部を含むパンチピンを有し、前記ピン先端部は、前記パンチ本体の遠位端部を越えて延びるようになっており、
脱型されるべき2部品構成型モールド組立体の一方の部分を支持するよう構成された支持プレートを有し、
前記パンチピンは、脱型のためにレンズモールド組立体のモールド層を突き通すよう寸法決めされると共に十分な力で動かされる、脱型装置。 - 前記支持プレートは、第1の直径の受け入れボアを有するパレットであり、前記受け入れボアは、これよりも小さな第2の直径のフランジを有する、請求項12記載の脱型装置。
- 前記パンチ本体は、部分的に凹状の表面を有する、請求項12記載の脱型装置。
- 脱型後、モールド部分を抜き取るストリッパを更に有する、請求項12記載の脱型装置。
- 2つ又は3つ以上のパンチャを更に有する、請求項12記載の脱型装置。
- 前記パンチャと共に配置されたストリッパコラムを更に有する、請求項12記載の脱型装置。
- 前記パンチャは、前記ストリッパコラムと共に動くことができると共に前記ストリッパコラムに対して動くことができる、請求項17記載の脱型装置。
- 前記支持プレートの受け入れボア内に配置されたレンズモールド組立体を更に有し、前記レンズモールド組立体は、雌型モールド部分及び雄型モールド部分を含む、請求項12記載の脱型装置。
- 前記雌型モールド部分だけが前記受け入れボアにより支持される、請求項19記載の脱型装置。
- 前記支持プレートの上方に配置されたストリッパプレートを更に有する、請求項12記載の脱型装置。
