Abstract
【解決手段】発光装置1は、複数のLED2と、LED2がアレイ状に実装される基板3と、LED2から放射された光の配光を調整する配光調整部材4と、を備え、配光調整部材4は、2つ以上のLED2に共通して設けられ、LED2を格納する収容部41と、LED2の光導出面上で且つLED2の直上部に設けられた凹条曲面部42と、凹条曲面部42の両側に設けられ、凹条曲面部42と面が滑らかに連続する一対の凸条曲面部43と、を有する。LED2から収容部41に入射した光の多くは、凹条曲面部42で全反射されて、側方方向へ進み、凹条曲面部42を屈折して透過することにより、配光調整部材4から広い配光で出射される。また、指向性が低くなるので、光ムラを生じ難くすることができる。

Claims (18)
- 複数の固体発光素子と、
前記固体発光素子がアレイ状に実装される基板と、
前記固体発光素子から放射された光の配光を調整する配光調整部材と、を備え、
前記配光調整部材は、
前記アレイ状の固体発光素子の、少なくとも2つ以上の固体発光素子に共通して設けられ、
前記固体発光素子を格納する収容部と、
前記固体発光素子の光導出面上で且つ前記固体発光素子の直上部に設けられた凹条曲面部と、
該凹条曲面部の両側に設けられ、前記凹条曲面部と面が滑らかに連続する一対の凸条曲面部と、を有することを特徴とする発光装置。 - 前記配光調整部材を覆う拡散透過カバー部材を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の発光装置。
- 前記配光調整部材の光導出面が、粗面となっていることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の発光装置。
- 前記固体発光素子の光導出面は、透明樹脂によって被覆されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記固体発光素子と前記収容部の内面との間に、空気層が介在することを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記収容部は、その長手方向に直交する断面形状の勾配が、前記固体発光素子の中央部を通る光導出軸に近づく程、小さくなるように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記配光調整部材の光出射面には、長手方向に複数の凸状レンズが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記配光調整部材の光出射面には、長手方向に複数の凹状レンズが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記透明樹脂は、蛍光体を含有して波長変換部材として構成されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の発光装置。
- 前記波長変換部材は、前記配光調整部材の長手方向に直交する縦断面視において前記固体発光素子の側方方向の厚さよりも上方方向の厚さが厚くなるように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の発光装置。
- 前記波長変換部材は、前記配光調整部材の長手方向に直交する縦断面視において縦長の凸形状に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の発光装置。
- 前記波長変換部材は、前記配光調整部材の長手方向に直交する縦断面視において縦長の三角形状に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の発光装置。
- 前記波長変換部材は、上面視において円形状となるように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項10乃至請求項12のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記波長変換部材は、上面視において前記配光調整部材の長手方向に沿って楕円形状となるように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項10乃至請求項12のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記波長変換部材は、前記透明樹脂に、蛍光体を含有する樹脂が塗布されている、又は蛍光体シートが付されていることを特徴とする請求項9乃至請求項14のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記複数の固体発光素子は、直線状に配置され、
前記配光調整部材は、直線状に構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項15のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。 - 前記複数の固体発光素子は、円環状に配置され、
前記配光調整部材は、円環状に構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項15のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。 - 請求項1乃至請求項17のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置を用いた照明装置。
