L(θ)=A×K(θ)×Cos3(θ)・・・(式1)
ここで、Aは光源から照射面までの距離に依存する定数である。
L(θ)=A×K0×Cos4(θ)
L(θ)/L0=Cos4(θ)
その相対照度分布を図3に示す。
Tan(θ)=x/D
A×K(θ)×Cos3(θ)=L0
となることであり、これを変形すると、
K(θ)=L0/A×Cos-3(θ)
となる。
K(θ)/K0=Cos-3(θ)・・・(式2)
を満たすことが均一照度を実現するための配光特性となる。その出射光度分布を図4に示す。

Claims (3)
- 基板と、前記基板上に実装されたLED素子と、前記LED素子を覆うように前記基板上に配置された、光軸に対して略回転対称な出射面を有するレンズと、を備え、
前記出射面は、前記光軸から広がる第1出射面と、この第1出射面の周縁部から前記基板に至る第2出射面とを有し、前記出射面を前記光軸を含む平面で切った曲線は、前記第1出射面と前記第2出射面の境界上に、前記光軸からの距離の増加に対する前記出射面の高さの増加率である傾斜率が不連続に低下する変化点を有し、
前記変化点と前記LED素子の発光中心とを結ぶ線分と前記光軸とのなす角度は、前記出射面から出射される光を前記光軸に対する角度である出射角度ごとに見たときの最大の光度となる出射角度とほぼ等しい、発光装置。 - 前記レンズは、透明樹脂で構成されている、請求項1に記載の発光装置。
- 前記第2出射面は、円筒面またはテーパー面をなしている、請求項1または2に記載の発光装置。
