Abstract
【解決手段】磁石粉末と、変形開始温度が600℃以下の金属ガラスとを混合し、混合粉末を得て、その混合粉末を金型に充填するとともに、磁場中で圧力成形し、成形体を得た後、成形体を、同一の金型内において、放電プラズマ焼結することにより、金属ガラスの前記変形開始温度以上の温度に加熱し、これにより、磁性材料を製造する。

Description
(式中、Rは、希土類元素を示す。また、0<x<83であり、また、0<y≦17である。)
上記式(1)において、Rは、上記した希土類元素を示す(以下同様。)。
Nd(ネオジム)、Fe(鉄)、Co(コバルト)およびB(ホウ素)の単体粉末または塊状物を、Nd33Fe25Co25B17となる配合割合で処方し、アーク溶解炉により、4kPa(30Torr)、Ar(アルゴン)雰囲気下で溶解させ、上記組成比の合金(インゴット)を作製した。
試料充填量:1.5g
昇温速度:40℃/分
加圧力:800MPa
実施例1
製造例1において得られた金属ガラス(Nd33Fe25Co25B17)の粉末と、Z16(磁石粉末、Sm−Fe−N系磁石(Sm2Fe17N3)、分解温度600℃、体積平均粒子径3μm、日亜化学工業社製)とを、それらの総量に対して金属ガラスが10質量%となるように配合し、シクロヘキサン中において、アトライター(プライミクス製フィルミックス40−40型)によって、周速40m/sで5分間混合した。
実施例1により得られた各磁性材料について、BHトレーサ(玉川製作所製TM−BH32−C1型)にて減磁曲線を測定し、それらの磁気特性を評価した。その結果、残留磁束密度(Br)は、0.9872T、B保磁力(bHc)は、430.4kA/m、I保磁力(iHc)は、508.0kA/m、最大エネルギー積(BHmax)は、143.7kJ/m3であった。
Claims (1)
- 磁石粉末と、変形開始温度が600℃以下の金属ガラスとを混合し、混合粉末を得る工程、
前記混合粉末を金型に充填するとともに、磁場中で圧力成形し、成形体を得る工程、および、
前記成形体を、同一の前記金型内において、放電プラズマ焼結することにより、前記金属ガラスの前記変形開始温度以上の温度に加熱する工程
を備えることを特徴とする、磁性材料の製造方法。
