Abstract
Description
本出願は、2008年4月1日に出願された米国仮特許出願第61/041,587号(この開示内容は、参照することによりその全体が本明細書に組み込まれる)の優先権を主張する。
2個の点を含む装置の遠位端の画像を図8Aに示す。この装置は、例えば図5Aに示した装置500と同様である。この装置のさらに回転した画像を図8Bに示す。この装置は、外径が約1mmで内径が約0.5mmを有する管を使用して作成した。点又は延長部は、管の軸に対して適切な角度で管の遠位端の2個の相対する側面を摩砕することにより作成した。使用した角度は約30度であるが、他の角度を使用することもできる。試験管のはす縁は、点又は延長部の側面に沿って見える。これらの点の形は、本明細書に詳述したように、提供者部位の組織への装置の挿入、及び/又は提供者部位からの微小移植片組織部分の分離を促進することができる。例えば、このような微小移植片は、軸に沿って管を回転することなく、提供者部位組織から装置を挿入し引き出すことにより、提供者部位から分離し取り出すことができる。
Claims (33)
- 提供者部位から複数の組織部分を取り出し、
取り出された組織部分を受容者部位に提供する、
ことを含んでなる、少なくとも1個の生物学的組織を移植する方法であって、
取り出された組織部分の少なくとも2つは、約1mm未満の少なくとも1個の寸法を有することを特徴とする方法。 - 取り出された組織部分のそれぞれは、約0.5mm未満の少なくとも1個の寸法を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 取り出された組織部分のそれぞれは、約0.3mm未満の少なくとも1個の寸法を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 取り出された組織部分のそれぞれは、約0.2mm未満であるか又はこれに等しい少なくとも1個の寸法を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 提供者部位から取り出された組織部分の面積率は約70%未満であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 提供者部位から取り出された組織部分の面積率は約50%未満であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
