以下に記載する説明的実施形態(実施例)に示すように、工場内(in-house)において、140℃及び12秒の連続プレスにて、ポプリン型の上部布地への融着が行われた。DIN 54310又はDIN EN ISO 6330に基づいて離層抵抗が決定された。離層抵抗試験において、上部布地と芯地との接着が非常に強力であり、実施されている試験中、層間剥離が完了する前に芯地が裂けた場合には、離層抵抗値は「sp」で示される。接着性は原則として芯地の内部強度よりも強いため、これは目標とされる最大値である。
1.7dtex/38mmのPES繊維100%からなり、坪量35g/m2を有する繊維ウェブをローラーカードにかける。平滑ロール面の結合温度が標準法に比べて5℃低い状態とされたカレンダーで、221℃にてこの繊維ウェブをポイント固化する。これにより、より高い柔軟性を不織布に付与することが可能となる。不織布に弱く結合された繊維ウェブを、次に110ポイント/cm2で回転スクリーン印刷機に通し、(乾燥重量基準で)含浸量18g/m2のバインダー・ポリマー分散液を用いて点状に印刷する。印刷後の不織布は、ベルト乾燥機にて175℃で乾燥され、バインダーは架橋し、ポリマー粒子は不織布の上でそれと共に焼結される。

- 繊維材料で構成されるバッキング層を有し、かつバインダーと熱可塑性ポリマーとを含む二層接着化合物構造を支持する、繊維産業において融着性芯地として特に有用な熱融着性シート材料であって、
バッキング層を提供する工程(a)と、
前記バインダーと前記熱可塑性ポリマーとの混合物を前記バッキング層の選択領域に塗布する工程(b)と、
工程(b)で得られた前記バッキング層を熱処理し、混合物を支持して乾燥させ、場合によって前記バインダーを架橋し、前記バインダーを支持するバッキング層の表面上に又は表面と共に前記熱可塑性ポリマーを焼結する工程(c)と、
を含む方法によって得られることを特徴とする熱融着性シート材料。 - 前記繊維材料が不織布を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の熱融着性シート材料。
- 前記不織布が、ポリエステル、ポリアミド、再生セルロース、及び/又はバインダー繊維、及び/又は羊毛及び綿繊維等の天然繊維で構成される、捲縮可能な、捲縮性の及び/又は非捲縮性のステープルファイバー、捲縮可能な、捲縮性の及び/又は非捲縮性の直接紡糸連続フィラメント繊維、又はメルトブロー繊維等の有限繊維を含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の熱融着性シート材料。
- 前記繊維の繊維線密度が6.7デシテックス未満であることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の熱融着性シート材料。
- 前記熱可塑性ポリマーが、ポリエステル(共重合ポリエステル)ベースのポリマー、ポリアミド(共重合ポリアミド)ベースのポリマー、ポリオレフィンベースのポリマー、ポリウレタンベースのポリマー、エチレン酢酸ビニルベースのポリマー、及び/又は上記のポリマーの組み合わせ(混合物及び連鎖成長付加コポリマー)を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の熱融着性シート材料。
- 前記熱可塑性ポリマーが粒子の状態で前記混合物中に存在することを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の熱融着性シート材料。
- 前記粒子の直径が500μm未満であることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の熱融着性シート材料。
