Abstract
【解決手段】操作者に手動で操作される操作部を備えた入力装置において、操作部に外力を印加するアクチュエータが、磁性材料からなるコアとコイルとを有し、検出部の検出結果に応じて制御部によりコイルに流れる電流が制御される電磁石と、操作部が原位置の状態でコアの端面に所定の間隙をもって対向配置される対向面を有し、該対向面が磁極の一方をなす磁石と、を含んでいる。また、電磁石及び磁石のいずれか一方が操作部と一体化されている。そして、2つの磁石が、少なくとも操作部が原位置の状態で操作部の回転軸を挟んで対向配置されるとともに、操作部が原位置の状態で、各磁石に対して電磁石のコアの端面が配置されている。

Description
(第1実施形態)
本実施形態に係る入力装置10の主たる特徴部分は、磁気力が作用する磁石と電磁石との配置にある。
本実施形態では、ハウジング17を構成する平板状のカバー20の一面20aが、XY面に沿う面(平行な面)とされており、カバー20の厚み方向(一面20aに垂直な方向)がZ軸に沿う方向(平行な方向)となっている。そして、一面20a上に操作部12が配置されており、操作部12は、一面20aに沿う任意方向、すなわちXY面に沿う任意方向と、Z軸周りの回転方向とに変位可能となっている。
次に、本発明の第2実施形態に係る入力装置について説明する。第2実施形態に係る入力装置10では、入力部11において、図10に示すように、アクチュエータ15が復元力発生部13を兼ねている、すなわちアクチュエータ15とは別に復元力発生部13を有していない点を特徴とする。
次に、本発明の第3実施形態に係る入力装置について説明する。第3実施形態に係る入力装置10では、入力部11が、図12に示すように、1つの電磁石62と、一対の磁石63,64を有する点を特徴とする。それ以外の構成は、基本的に、第1実施形態に示した入力装置10と同じである。

Claims (8)
- 原位置に対して、X軸とY軸がなすXY面に沿う任意方向及びZ軸周りの回転方向に変位可能に支持され、操作者に手動で操作される操作部と、
前記操作部を前記原位置に自動的に復帰させる復元力発生部と、
前記操作部の操作状態を検出する検出部と、
前記操作部に外力を印加するアクチュエータと、
前記検出部の検出結果に応じて前記アクチュエータの駆動を制御する制御部と、を備えた入力装置であって、
前記アクチュエータは、磁性材料からなるコアと該コアに一体化されたコイルとを有し、前記検出部の検出結果に応じて前記制御部により前記コイルに流れる電流が制御される電磁石と、前記操作部が原位置の状態で前記コアの端面に所定の間隙をもって対向配置される対向面を有し、該対向面が磁極の一方をなす磁石と、を含み、
前記電磁石及び前記磁石のいずれか一方が前記操作部と一体化され、
2つの前記磁石が、少なくとも前記操作部が原位置の状態で、前記操作部の回転軸を挟んで対向配置されるとともに、前記操作部が原位置の状態で、各磁石に対して前記電磁石のコアの端面が対向配置されていることを特徴とする入力装置。 - 前記アクチュエータが前記復元力発生部を兼ねることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の入力装置。
- 前記操作部は、前記XY面と平行な方向への移動が可能に支持され、
前記電磁石のコアの端面と前記磁石の対向面とが、前記XY面に平行となっていることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の入力装置。 - 前記アクチュエータは、前記回転軸を挟んで対向配置される2つの磁石の対として、第1の対と第2の対を含み、
前記第1の対をなす磁石の一方と前記第2の対をなす磁石の一方、前記第1の対をなす磁石の他方と前記第2の対をなす磁石の他方とが、それぞれ前記XY面に垂直な方向から見て重なる位置とされ、
前記XY面に垂直な方向から見て重なる位置とされた、前記第1の対をなす磁石と前記第2の対をなす磁石は、互いに対向する面の磁極が異なるとともに、互いに対向する面の間に1本の前記コアがそれぞれ配置され、該コアにおける一端面が前記第1の対をなす磁石の面と対向し、前記コアにおける一端面とは反対側の端面が前記第2の対をなす磁石の面と対向していることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の入力装置。 - 前記操作部が原位置の状態で、前記電磁石において、1本の前記コアにおける一端面が、前記回転軸を挟んで対向配置される2つの前記磁石の一方と対向し、前記コアにおける一端面とは反対側の端面が、2つの前記磁石の他方と対向しており、
前記コアの一端面と対向する前記磁石の対向面側の磁極と、前記コアの一端面とは反対側の端面と対向する前記磁石の対向面側の磁極とが互いに異なることを特徴とする請求項1〜3いずれか1項に記載の入力装置。 - 前記磁石は永久磁石であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5いずれか1項に記載の入力装置。
- 前記アクチュエータは、前記磁石に接して一体化された磁性材料からなるヨークを含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の入力装置。
- 表示画面を備えた車両用表示装置に対して情報を入力する装置であることを特徴とする請求項1〜7いずれか1項に記載の入力装置。
