Abstract
【解決手段】タッチパネル100とフロントウインドウ200とはPETフィルム220とUV硬化樹脂210を介して接着している。フロントウインドウ200とタッチパネル100の間に気泡等の不良が発見された場合、フロントウインドウ200とタッチパネル100を剥離してタッチパネル100を再生する。再生はUV硬化樹210を切断刃を用いて切断する。フロントウインドウ200とタッチパネル100を剥離後、PETフィルム上に残ったUV硬化樹脂210の残渣は、PETフィルム220を剥離することによって除去する。PETフィルム220の端部に粘着材2201が形成されていないタブ221を設けることによって、タブ221を起点にして、PETフィルム220をタッチパネル100から容易に除去することが出来る。

Description
液晶表示パネルを構成する画素電極、TFT(Thin Film Transistor)等が形成されているTFT基板、カラーフィルタが形成されているカラーフィルタ基板のガラス基板は例えば、0.5mmあるいは0.7mmというように規格化されている。これらの規格化されたガラス基板を市場から入手するのは困難である。また、非常に薄いガラス基板は製造工程で機械的強度、撓み等で問題を生じ、製造歩留まりを低下させる。したがって、規格化されたガラス基板を用いて液晶表示パネルを形成後、液晶表示パネルの外面を研磨して薄くしている。
Claims (6)
- 液晶表示パネルとバックライトが樹脂モールドに収容され、前記液晶表示パネルの上にはタッチパネルが貼り付けられ、前記タッチパネルにはフロントウインドウが貼り付けられた液晶表示装置であって、
前記タッチパネルと前記フロントウインドウは、プラスチック基材に粘着材が形成されたプラスチックフィルムおよびUV硬化樹脂を介して接着し、
前記プラスチックフィルムには、コーナー部に前記粘着材が形成されていない、タブが存在していることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記プラスチックフィルムはPETフィルムであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記タブの出っ張り量は0.2mm以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 液晶表示パネルとバックライトが樹脂モールドに収容され、前記液晶表示パネルの上にはタッチパネルが貼り付けられ、前記タッチパネルにはフロントウインドウが貼り付けられた液晶表示装置であって、
前記タッチパネルと前記フロントウインドウは、プラスチック基材に粘着材が形成されたプラスチックフィルムおよびUV硬化樹脂を介して接着し、
前記プラスチックフィルムのコーナー部には、前記粘着材が形成されていない部分が存在することを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記プラスチックフィルムはPETフィルムであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記コーナー部の前記粘着材が形成されていない部分は、コーナー面取り状であり、コーナー面取りにおけるcの量は0.2mm以上であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の液晶表示装置。
