Claims (10)
- 内部に攪拌器が配設された攪拌容器を通るよう溶融ガラスを流す工程と、
前記攪拌器を回転させて前記溶融ガラスを攪拌する工程と
を有してなるガラス製造方法であって、
前記攪拌器が、少なくとも約50重量%のイリジウムを含む外層を有する
ことを特徴とするガラス製造方法。 - 前記外層が100重量%のイリジウムから実質的になることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記外層の厚さが少なくとも約100μmであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記攪拌器が羽根車を更に備え、該羽根車上に前記外層が設けられることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記羽根車に、該羽根車の厚さを貫通して延びる複数の孔が画成されていることを特徴とする請求項4記載の方法。
- 前記羽根車に、該羽根車の外面に複数の溝が画成されていることを特徴とする請求項4記載の方法。
- 溶融ガラスを攪拌する装置であって、
ボアを有するシリンダと、
前記ボア内に配設された、前記シリンダと同軸のシャフトと、
前記シリンダの壁に近接するよう前記シャフトから径方向に突出した羽根車と
を備え、
前記羽根車が、前記溶融ガラスと接触する少なくとも約50重量%のイリジウムを含む外層を備える
ことを特徴とする装置。 - 前記羽根車が、該羽根車の表面に複数の溝を有することを特徴とする請求項7記載の装置。
- 溶融ガラスを攪拌する装置であって、
ボアを有するシリンダと、
前記ボア内に配設された、前記シリンダと同軸のシャフトと、
前記シリンダの壁に近接するよう前記シャフトから径方向に突出した羽根車と
を備え、
前記装置の表面が複数の溝を有することを特徴とする装置。 - 前記複数の溝が前記シャフトの回転軸に対して略垂直であることを特徴とする請求項9記載の装置。
