Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の有機電界発光表示装置は、有機発光ダイオード116のカソード電極116cが透明性物質で画素110の上部に全面的に形成された下部基板100と、画素110の間の非発光領域120に対応するようにカソード電極116cと電気的に連結されるメッシュタイプの補助電極210が形成された上部基板200とを含んでいることを特徴とする。

Claims (11)
- 有機発光ダイオードを含んだ多数の画素が形成され、前記有機発光ダイオードのカソード電極が透明性物質で前記画素の上部に全面的に形成された下部基板と、
前記画素間の非発光領域に対応するように前記画素に向かう面に、前記カソード電極と電気的に連結されるメッシュタイプの補助電極が形成された上部基板と
を含む有機電界発光表示装置。 - 前記上部基板の補助電極上に全面的に形成され、前記カソード電極と接触して前記補助電極と前記カソード電極とを電気的に連結する透明導電膜を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記透明導電膜は、前記画素間の非発光領域で前記カソード電極と接触することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記補助電極は、導電性ブラックマトリックス物質を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記補助電極は、クロム(Cr)、クロム合金、モリブデン(MO)、モリブデン合金及びこれらの酸化物(CrOx、MoOx)で構成される群より選択された少なくとも1つの物質を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記補助電極は、カソード電極物質より比抵抗が低い物質で形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記透明導電膜は、インジウムチンオキサイド(ITO)で形成されることを特徴とする請求項2または請求項3に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記有機発光ダイオードは、赤色、緑色及び青色のうちのいずれか1つの光を発光する発光層を含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項7のいずれか1項に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記有機発光ダイオードは、白色光を発光する発光層を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記画素と対応するように前記上部基板の補助電極の間に形成された赤色、緑色及び青色カラーフィルタを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記上部基板の補助電極及びカラーフィルタ上に全面的に形成され、前記カソード電極と接触して前記補助電極と前記カソード電極とを電気的に連結する透明導電膜を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
