Claims (33)
- 圧縮可能なバルブ補綴物の外径を縮小する装置であって、
第1テーパー表面を有するとともに、第1開口端を有し、補綴物が第1テーパー表面に沿って移動させられる時に補綴物の少なくとも一部の外径を縮小させるように形成されている第1縮小部材と、
第2テーパー表面を有するとともに、第1開口端を有し、補綴物が第2テーパー表面に沿って移動させられる時に補綴物の少なくとも一部の外径を縮小させるように形成されている第2縮小部材とを備えている。 - 請求項1に記載の装置であって、
第1テーパー表面は円錐形状である。 - 請求項2に記載の装置であって、
第2テーパー表面は円錐形状である。 - 請求項1に記載の装置であって、
第2縮小部材は、縮小された形状の補綴物の少なくとも一部を収容するように形成された管状部分をさらに備えている。 - 請求項1に記載の装置であって、
第1縮小部材と協働するように形成され、補綴物を第1テーパー表面に沿った位置に保持するために補綴物の一端に接触するような接触面を形作るキャップをさらに備えている。 - 請求項5に記載の装置であって、
第1縮小部材はさらに第2開口端を有し、第2開口端は補綴物の一端の挿通を許容するように形成されている。 - 請求項6に記載の装置であって、
第1縮小部材の第2開口端と実質的に一直線上に並ぶような孔がキャップに設けられ、該孔は補綴物が第1縮小部材内に配置されている時に補綴物の内側の面に接触するように形成された伸ばすための部材を受容するように形成されている。 - 請求項7に記載の装置であって、

収容管は、カテーテルにおける補綴物の前記一端を受容するさやの末端を支持するように形成されている。 - 補綴物をデリバリーカテーテルに固定する前に置換するバルブ補綴物のリーフレットを整列させるキットであって、
第1開口端を有する円錐形状ハウジングを備え、補綴物が該ハウジングを通る時に補綴物を圧縮するようにハウジングが形成されており、円錐形状ハウジング及び補綴物の内側に位置してバルブのリーフレットを開ポジションに整列させるように形成された整列部材を備えている。 - 請求項11に記載のキットであって、
開ポジションはバルブを通過する血液に対するリーフレットの通常のポジションである。 - 請求項11に記載のアッセンブリーであって、
前記整列部材は、カテーテルを受容する内部通路を形作っているチューブをさらに備え、リーフレットが該チューブによって開状態に保持されている時にカテーテルがリーフレットの所を進むことができるようにチューブが構成されている。 - 請求項11に記載のアッセンブリーであって、
前記ハウジングは補綴物の一端部の挿通を許容するように形成された第2開口端を有し、ハウジングは補綴物の該一端部を潰すように形成され、前記整列部材は、補綴物及び前記第2開口端を挿通して補綴物の潰されている前記一端部をある伸ばされた姿勢に偏らせるように形成されている。 - 請求項11に記載のアッセンブリーであって、
前記円錐形状ハウジングの前記第1開口端を覆うように形成された着脱自在なキャップをさらに備え、キャップには前記整列部材を収容可能な孔が形成されている。 - 請求項15に記載のアッセンブリーであって、
前記キャップは、キャップに対する前記整列部材の移動が防止されるように前記整列部材への摩擦力を付与可能に形成された摩擦部材をさらに備えている。 - 置換するバルブ補綴物を圧縮する方法であって、
補綴物がテーパー表面によって圧縮されるように、バルブの入口がバルブの出口を案内する方向にテーパー表面に沿って補綴物を移動させる工程を含む。 - 請求項17に記載の方法であって、
カテーテルのさやの中に補綴物を引き込む工程をさらに含む。 - 請求項18に記載の方法であって、
補綴物を引き込む工程では、バルブの入口がさやに入る前にバルブの出口がさやに入るような方向に補綴物が移動する。 - 請求項17に記載の方法であって、
テーパー表面に沿った補綴物の移動が補綴物を押すことにより行われる。 - 請求項17に記載の方法であって、
補綴物のテーパー表面に沿った移動の前に補綴物のバルブの出口端を圧縮する工程をさらに含む。 - 請求項21に記載の方法であって、
補綴物のテーパー表面に沿った移動の前に補綴物のバルブの出口端をカテーテルのさやの中に位置させる工程をさらに含む。 - 請求項22に記載の方法であって、
テーパー表面に沿った補綴物の移動の時に、径方向の拡大に対抗してカテーテルのさやを支持する工程をさらに含む。 - 置換するバルブ補綴物を圧縮する方法であって、
補綴物の少なくとも一部を圧縮するために、バルブの出口がバルブの入口を案内する方向で補綴物を第1テーパー表面に沿って移動させる工程と、
補綴物の少なくとも一部を圧縮するために、バルブの入口がバルブの出口を案内する方向で補綴物を第2テーパー表面に沿って移動させる工程とを含む。 - 請求項24に記載の方法であって、
収容管を利用することにより、第2テーパー表面に沿った補綴物の移動による補綴物の圧縮された位置の径方向への拡大を抑える工程をさらに含む。 - 請求項24に記載の方法であって、
第1テーパー面及び第2テーパー面に沿った補綴物の移動は補綴物を押すことにより行われる。 - 請求項24に記載の方法であって、第1テーパー表面に沿った補綴物の移動の後に、且つ、第2テーパー表面に沿った補綴物の移動の前に、補綴物のフレイムをカテーテルのインナーコアに固定し、補綴物のバルブの出口端をカテーテルのさやの中に入れる工程をさらに含む。
- 請求項26に記載の方法であって、
収容管を利用することによって、第2テーパー表面に沿った補綴物の移動によるさやの末端の径方向への拡大を抑える工程をさらに含む。 - 請求項26に記載の方法であって、
第2テーパー表面に沿った補綴物の移動の後に補綴物をカテーテルに引き込む工程を含む。 - バルブを保持するフレイムを有する補綴物を圧縮する方法であって、
円錐形状の表面に沿って補綴物を移動させるために補綴物の一端に押す力を付与する表面中における実質的に平面の接触範囲を利用し、補綴物の少なくとも一部の外径を圧縮し、表面中における前記実質的に平面の接触範囲が円錐形状の表面の長手方向の軸を横切っている。 - 請求項30に記載の方法であって、
円錐形状の表面を形作る円錐形状ハウジングに平面の表面を形作るためのキャップを取付ける工程をさらに含み、補綴物のバルブの出口端が開口中にのびることを許容するように形成された末端の開口を円錐形状ハウジングが有する。 - 請求項31に記載の方法であって、
キャップの孔を通してチューブを挿入する工程をさらに含み、該孔は円錐形状ハウジングの開口と概して一直線上に配置されており、チューブによって補綴物のバルブの出口端を拡大する工程をさらに含む。 - 請求項32に記載の方法であって、
バルブの出口端を拡大する工程はフレイムのみをチューブと接触させる。
