Abstract
Description
本開示は、一般にオリエンテーションシステム(orientation systems)に関し、より具体的には、3次元空間における移動体(moving body)の線形平行移動(linear translation)に加えて、移動体におけるロール(roll)、ピッチ(pitch)、ヨー(yaw)を検知する(sensing)ための方法および装置(apparatus)に関する。
物理的な状態あるいは現象(physical conditions or phenomena)を、検出する、あるいは測定するために利用可能な多種多様のセンサが存在する。多くの産業的、商業的、あるいは科学的なコンテキストにおいて一般に導入されるタイプのセンサは、リニア加速度計(linear accelerometers)である。地球の重力ベクトルの方向(direction)を検出することによって、「3D」加速度計の線形(linear)は、オブジェクトの平行移動(translation)(角回転(angular rotation)のない線形運動)を測定するために使用され得る、またさらに「チルト(“tilt”)」(例えば、「ロール(“roll”)あるいは「ピッチ(“pitch”)」に関連する角加速度(angular acceleration))、自由落下(free-fall)、および衝撃(shock)を検知(sense)できる。異なるタイプおよび感度の加速度計(accelerometers)は、任意の様々な物理的現象、例えば小さなボールのローリング(rolling of a small ball)、導電性液体あるいは重液のシフティング/フローイング(shifting/flowing of a conductive or heavy liquid)、振り子のスウィンギング(swinging of the pendulum)、あるいは、正確度(accuracy)および感度を変える他の力学的手段(mechanical means)を、活用すること(exploiting)によって機能することができる。より精巧で知られているリニア加速度計は、地球の磁界を通して運動(movement)を検知するか、あるいは他の磁気現象あるいは光学現象(magnetic or optical phenomena)を活用することができる。

Claims (1)
- 6自由度のオブジェクトのオリエンテーションにおける変化および動きを測定するための方法であって、
前記オブジェクト上に、虚軸上に配置された第1および第2のリニア加速度計を準備することと、
前記オブジェクト上に、前記虚軸から離れて配置された第3のリニア加速器を配置することと、
前記第1および第2のリニア加速度計を用いて、x−y−z座標系に関する前記オブジェクトの線形運動を測定することと、
前記第1および第2のリニア加速度計を用いて、2つの軸の回転に関するオブジェクトの角回転を測定することと、
前記x−y−z座標系に関する前記虚軸の任意の運動を、前記第3のリニア加速器の少なくとも1つの出力から決定することと、
のステップ、を備えている方法。
