Abstract
Description
a)25乃至30重量%の、分散相として存在する、架橋剤と前記架橋可能な炭化水素ゴムを部分的又は完全に加硫して生成された反応生成物、
b)7乃至12重量%の、連続相として存在する、前記熱可塑性ポリオレフィン樹脂、及び
c)8乃至22重量%の、
1)3乃至7重量%の、20℃より高く120℃より低いTmを有する、プロピレンと1つ以上のC4乃至C10アルファオレフィンとのコポリマーと、
2)3乃至15重量%の、スチレン、イソプレン、及び/又はブタジエン由来の水素化された直鎖又は分岐トリブロックスチレンコポリマーとを含むエラストマー性熱可塑性改質剤を含み、前記重量%は組成物の総重量に基づいており、前記組成物は動的加硫を含む工程により製造される。
押出し成形異形材の製品に対する製造ラインは21/2in.(63mm)直径、32:1のL:Dの1軸スクリュー押出し成形機(Akron Extruders,Canal Fulton, Ohio)を採用して構築した。N2を押出し成形機に射出するための射出システムは押出し成形機の出口から約8直径の場所に位置している。この射出システムは2つの等しい間隔で円周、放射状(半径方向)に位置するポートを有し、各ポートは176のオルフィスを含む。各オルフィスは0.020インチ(0.5mm)の直径を有し、トータルで352オリフィスがある。前記射出システムは空気で作動するコントロールバルブを含んでおり、5500psi(38Mpa)において0.04乃至3.5lbs/hr(0.022乃至1.6kg/hr)の速度で発泡剤の質量流量を正確に測定する。
初めに、フェノール樹脂を用いてゴムを動的加硫して、9つの熱可塑性加硫物を調製した。エキステンダーオイルのタイプ及び量を表1に記載のように変えた。
Claims (16)
- 120℃より高いTmを有する熱可塑性ポリオレフィン樹脂b)の存在下で、架橋可能な炭化水素ゴムを動的加硫することを含む方法により調製される発泡可能な熱可塑性エラストマー組成物であって、前記組成物が、
a)25乃至30重量%の、分散相として存在する、架橋剤と前記架橋可能な炭化水素ゴムを部分的又は完全に加硫して生成された反応生成物、
b)7乃至12重量%の、連続相として存在する、前記熱可塑性ポリオレフィン樹脂、及び
c)8乃至22重量%の、
1)3乃至7重量%の、20℃より高く120℃より低いTmを有する、プロピレンと1つ以上のC4乃至C10アルファオレフィンとのコポリマーと、
2)3乃至15重量%の、スチレン、イソプレン、及び/又はブタジエン由来の水素化された直鎖又は分岐トリブロックスチレンコポリマーと
を含むエラストマー性熱可塑性改質剤を含む(前記重量%が組成物の総重量に基づく)ことを特徴とする組成物。 - d)3乃至12重量%の固形充填剤、及び/又は
e)35乃至45重量%の非芳香族炭化水素オイルを更に含み、前記重量%が組成物の総重量に基づく、請求項1に記載の組成物。 - 前記架橋可能なゴムがEPDM又はハロブチルゴムであることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の組成物。
- 前記熱可塑性ポリオレフィン樹脂が0.8MFRと5−15MFRとのプロピレンホモポリマー又はコポリマーの組合せであることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記反応生成物ゴムにおいて、沸騰キシレン中に抽出される非架橋ゴムが5重量%以下になるように架橋されていることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記反応生成物ゴムにおいて、沸騰キシレン中に抽出される非架橋ゴムが5重量%より多く及び30重量%より少なくなるように架橋されていることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記水素化されたトリブロックコポリマーがスチレン−エチレン−プロピレン−スチレンコポリマーであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 1)アクリル修飾されたポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)改質剤及び2)長鎖分岐ポリオレフィンの1つ又は両方を更に1.5乃至8重量%含むことを特徴とする、請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- LCRが75Pa−s/1200秒−1であることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至8のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 請求項1乃至9のいずれか1の組成物を含む熱可塑性加硫組成物を含む発泡性熱可塑性エラストマー異形材。
- 発泡異形材の製造方法であって、
a)i)25乃至30重量%の、分散相として存在する、架橋剤と架橋可能な炭化水素ゴムを部分的又は完全に加硫された反応生成物、
ii)7乃至12重量%の、連続相として存在する前記熱可塑性(ポリオレフィン)樹脂、及び
iii)8乃至22重量%の、
1)3乃至7重量%の、20℃より高く120℃より低いTmを有する、プロピレンと1つ以上のC4乃至C10アルファオレフィンとのコポリマーと、
2)3乃至15重量%の、スチレン、イソプレン、及び/又はブタジエン由来の水素化された直鎖又は分岐トリブロックスチレンコポリマーと
を含むエラストマー性熱可塑性改質剤を含む、
動的に加硫された熱可塑性エラストマー組成物である、融解又は溶融熱可塑性エラストマー組成物に超臨界ガスを導入することによる、発泡工程(前記重量%は組成物の総重量に基づく)と、
b)異形材に押出成形された形状を付与することができる圧力放流ダイを通じてa)を押出成形する工程とを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記動的加硫された熱可塑性エラストマー組成物が
iv)3乃至12重量%の固形充填剤、及び/又は
v)35乃至45重量%の非芳香族炭化水素オイルを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法(前記重量%は組成物の総重量に基づく)。 - 前記超臨界ガスがN2であることを特徴とする、請求項11又は12のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記架橋可能な炭化水素ゴムがEPDM又はハロブチルゴムであることを特徴とする、請求項11乃至13のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記水素化されたトリブロックコポリマーがスチレン−エチレン−プロピレン−スチレン(SEPS)コポリマーであることを特徴とする請求項11乃至14のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂が0.8MFRと5乃至15MFRとのポリプロピレンホモポリマー、又はコポリマーの組合せであることを特徴とする請求項11乃至15のいずれかに記載の方法。
