Abstract
【解決手段】光導波路保持部材30は、取付構造40によってプリント基板20に固定される。この取付構造40は、2種類の接着剤によって光導波路保持部材30をプリント基板20に固定するものであり、第1段階として硬化時間の短い光硬化型接着剤(図1では隠れて見えない)を用いてロボットの組み付け動作によりプリント基板20に組み付けられた所定位置に光導波路保持部材30を仮止めし、第2段階として接着力が強力な2液混合型接着剤50によって光導波路保持部材30の周縁をプリント基板20に固定する。

(1)本発明は、樹脂材により形成され、プリント基板に当接される底面側の当接面と、光ファイバが接続される背面側の接続面と、前記当接面と前記接続面との間を接続する曲面に沿って形成された光導波路と、前記光導波路の端部に形成されたレンズ部とを有する光導波路保持部材の取付構造において、

(3)本発明は、前記当接面の周囲のうち前記レンズ部の両側に位置する部分に前記プリント基板の取付孔に嵌合する突起を設け、当該突起を前記プリント基板の取付孔に接着することにより、上記課題を解決するものである。
(4)本発明は、前記当接面の周囲のうち前記レンズ部の両側に位置する部分から側方に突出する突出部を設け、該突出部が前記プリント基板に対向する領域に前記光硬化型接着剤を塗布して前記突出部を前記プリント基板に接着することにより、上記課題を解決するものである。
(5)本発明は、前記当接面のうち前記レンズ部に近接する部分を、前記樹脂材よりも前記プリント基板と接着しやすい被接着プレートに、光硬化型接着剤により接着し、該被接着プレートの周縁を2液混合型接着剤により前記プリント基板に接着することにより、上記課題を解決するものである。
(6)本発明は、前記当接面に前記樹脂材よりも前記プリント基板と接着しやすいコーティング層を形成し、該コーティング層の前記レンズ部に近接する部分に前記光硬化型接着剤を塗布して前記プリント基板に接着し、前記コーティング層及び前記当接面の周縁を前記プリント基板に接着することにより、上記課題を解決するものである。
(7)本発明は、前記光導波路保持部材の前記レンズ部に近接する部分を外側から嵌合して前記樹脂材の熱膨張を抑制する補強部材を設けることにより、上記課題を解決するものである。
(8)本発明は、前記光導波路保持部材の前記レンズ部に近接する部分を両側の突出部を設け、該突出部に嵌合し、且つ前記プリント基板に固定される固定部材を前記プリント基板に接着することにより、上記課題を解決するものである。
(9)本発明は、樹脂材により形成され、プリント基板に当接される底面側の当接面と、光ファイバが接続される背面側の接続面と、前記当接面と前記接続面との間を接続するように曲面に沿って形成された光導波路と、前記光導波路の端部に形成されたレンズ部とを有する光導波路保持部材の取付構造の取付方法において、
前記当接面のうち前記レンズ部に近接する部分を光硬化型接着剤により前記プリント基板に接着する工程と、
前記当接面の周囲のうち前記レンズ部の両側に位置する部分の周縁及び前記背面側の周縁を2液混合型接着剤により前記プリント基板に接着する工程とを有することにより、上記課題を解決するものである。
図3に示されるように、光−電変換素子70A、電−光変換素子70Bは、複数の受光部72、発光部74がレンズ部36A,36Bの複数の球面レンズ36aの夫々に対向する位置になるようにプリント基板20の所定位置に実装されている。尚、本実施例においては、プリント基板20上に光−電変換素子70A、電−光変換素子70Bを配置した場合を一例として挙げているが、プリント基板20上の各変換素子の配置は任意に設定される。例えば、光−電変換素子70Aと電−光変換素子70Bとの配置を左右方向で逆の配置にしても良いし、あるいはプリント基板20上に光−電変換素子70Aを2個配置させても良いし、あるいは電−光変換素子70Bを2個配置させるようにしても良い。また、プリント基板20上に実装される変換素子数は2個に限らず、光−電変換素子70Aまたは電−光変換素子70Bの何れか一方のみを1個実装する場合もある。
図4に示されるように、入射部32A、出射部32Bは、プリント基板20の上面と平行な方向から引き出された光ファイバのコネクタが接続しやすいように光導波路保持部材30の背面31側の接続部32に設けられている。
また、取付面102には、光導波路保持部材30Aの下面側に突出するボス33が嵌入される位置決め孔104〜106が形成されている。さらに、光導波路保持部材30Aの下面側に形成されたレンズ部36に対向する位置決め孔105,106の間には、光信号が通過するための開口部108が貫通している。
図19に示されるように、補強部材130は、例えば、ステンレス等の金属材によりコ字状に形成されており、導波路保持部材30Aの当接面35に形成された凹部35aに嵌入されて左右方向(Y方向)に装架される梁132と、梁132の両端より上方に起立する一対の柱134とよりなる。
図25に示されるように、実施例1、2と同様に、プリント基板20の位置決め孔22,23及び取付孔26の周辺に光硬化型接着剤60を塗布すると共に、プリント基板20の上面の突出部38の下面38aが当接する領域にも光硬化型接着剤60を塗布する。

Claims (9)
- 樹脂材により形成され、プリント基板に当接される底面側の当接面と、光ファイバが接続される背面側の接続面と、前記当接面と前記接続面との間を接続する曲面に沿って形成された光導波路と、前記光導波路の端部に形成されたレンズ部とを有する光導波路保持部材の取付構造において、
前記当接面のうち前記レンズ部に近接する部分を光硬化型接着剤により前記プリント基板に接着し、
前記当接面の周囲のうち前記レンズ部の両側に位置する部分の周縁及び前記背面側の周縁を2液混合型接着剤により前記プリント基板に接着することを特徴とする光導波路保持部材の取付構造。 - 前記当接面の周囲のうち前端側の一部を前記2液混合型接着剤により前記プリント基板に接着することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光導波路保持部材の取付構造。
- 前記当接面の周囲のうち前記レンズ部の両側に位置する部分に前記プリント基板の取付孔に嵌合する突起を設け、当該突起を前記プリント基板の取付孔に接着することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の光導波路保持部材の取付構造。
- 前記当接面の周囲のうち前記レンズ部の両側に位置する部分から側方に突出する突出部を設け、該突出部が前記プリント基板に対向する領域に前記光硬化型接着剤を塗布して前記突出部を前記プリント基板に接着することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3の何れかに記載の光導波路保持部材の取付構造。
- 前記当接面のうち前記レンズ部に近接する部分を、前記樹脂材よりも前記プリント基板と接着しやすい被接着プレートに、光硬化型接着剤により接着し、該被接着プレートの周縁を2液混合型接着剤により前記プリント基板に接着することを特徴とする請求項1乃至4の何れかに記載の光導波路保持部材の取付構造。
- 前記当接面に前記樹脂材よりも前記プリント基板と接着しやすいコーティング層を形成し、該コーティング層の前記レンズ部に近接する部分に前記光硬化型接着剤を塗布して前記プリント基板に接着し、前記コーティング層及び前記当接面の周縁を前記プリント基板に接着することを特徴とする請求項1乃至5の何れかに記載の光導波路保持部材の取付構造。
- 前記光導波路保持部材の前記レンズ部に近接する部分を外側から嵌合して前記樹脂材の熱膨張を抑制する補強部材を設けたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至6の何れかに記載の光導波路保持部材の取付構造。
- 前記光導波路保持部材の前記レンズ部に近接する部分を両側の突出部を設け、
該突出部に嵌合し、且つ前記プリント基板に固定される固定部材を前記プリント基板に接着することを特徴とする請求項1乃至6の何れかに記載の光導波路保持部材の取付構造。 - 樹脂材により形成され、プリント基板に当接される底面側の当接面と、光ファイバが接続される背面側の接続面と、前記当接面と前記接続面との間を接続するように曲面に沿って形成された光導波路と、前記光導波路の端部に形成されたレンズ部とを有する光導波路保持部材の取付構造の取付方法において、
前記当接面のうち前記レンズ部に近接する部分を光硬化型接着剤により前記プリント基板に接着する工程と、
前記当接面の周囲のうち前記レンズ部の両側に位置する部分の周縁及び前記背面側の周縁を2液混合型接着剤により前記プリント基板に接着する工程とを有することを特徴とする光導波路保持部材の取付方法。
