Abstract
【解決手段】複数の成形ブレード2を備える固定金型5および移動金型6で熱可塑性高分子シート10の厚み方向に伸縮可能な伸縮領域を賦形する賦形方法であって、複数の成形ブレードは、シートへの投影断面形状が相似形の曲線および屈曲線の少なくともいずれか一方が相似の中心を囲んで並ぶ形状であり、互いに接触せずに交互に噛み合うように固定金型および移動金型のそれぞれからシートの厚み方向に伸び出しており、固定金型と移動金型との間にシートを導入する工程と、固定金型と移動金型との成型ブレードを噛み合わせ隣接する成型ブレードの先端の間でシートを延伸させる工程とを含む賦形方法と、この方法で製造されるシートした。

Description
本発明は、このような従来の問題が生じることのない、シートの厚み方向に伸縮可能な伸縮領域を形成する賦形方法と、この方法で製造されるシートを提供することを目的とする。
また、導入工程の後、成型ブレードの先端が並ぶ領域の外周領域と、成型ブレードの先端で囲まれた中央領域との少なくともいずれか一方の領域で、シートをその厚み方向に押圧することが好ましい。さらに、複数の成型ブレードの噛み合い深さが連続的に変化する部分を設けて賦形することもできる。
隣接する成型ブレード2間の距離は、成型ブレード2を形成する板の厚みより大きい。これにより、移動金型6、固定金型5の各成型ブレード2を交互に噛み合わせたとき、互いに接触させることなく嵌入する。
成型ブレード2の先端3に対し、外周押圧面20が突出する構成にすれば、後述するように、成型ブレード2を噛み合わせたときシート10が成型ブレード2の間に引きずり込まれ、成型不良となることを防止できるので好ましい。
次に、移動金型6を固定金型5に向け移動させると、図3に示すように、固定金型5と移動金型6の外周フレーム21,21の外周押圧面20,20により、成型ブレード2の先端3が並ぶ領域の外周領域において、シート10が押圧される。この結果、シート10が仮想移動直線8に直交する方向にズレ動くことが抑制され、シート10の所定の位置に伸縮領域11を形成することができる。
また、シート10に、別体の部材を取り付けることなく空間15を形成可能な伸縮領域11を賦形できることから、大便を収容可能なおむつの製造にこのシート10を用いれば、製造工程短縮等の合理化が図れる。
このように、成型ブレード2の投影断面形状や噛み合い深さ4を変更することにより、種々の形状の空間15となる伸縮領域11を形成することができる。

Claims (8)
- 各々が複数の成形ブレードを備える固定金型および移動金型により、熱可塑性高分子シートの外周縁から離間した位置に、前記シートの厚み方向に伸縮可能な伸縮領域を賦形する賦形方法であって、
前記複数の成形ブレードは、前記シートへの投影断面形状が相似形の曲線および屈曲線の少なくともいずれか一方が相似の中心を囲んで並ぶ形状であり、かつ、互いに接触せずに交互に噛み合うように前記固定金型および前記移動金型のそれぞれから前記シートの厚み方向に伸び出しており、
前記固定金型と前記移動金型との間に前記シートを導入する導入工程と、
前記固定金型と前記移動金型との前記成型ブレードを噛み合わせ隣接する成型ブレードの先端の間でシートを延伸させる延伸工程とを含むことを特徴とする賦形方法。 - 前記延伸工程で、前記成型ブレードを噛み合わせた状態を所定時間維持する請求項1に記載の賦形方法。
- 前記延伸工程で、前記成型ブレードを噛み合わせた状態を、前記熱可塑性高分子シートの融点より低く室温より高い温度で、所定時間維持する請求項2に記載の賦形方法。
- 前記導入工程の後、前記成型ブレードの先端が並ぶ領域の外周領域と、前記成型ブレードの先端で囲まれた中央領域との少なくともいずれか一方の領域において、前記シートをその厚み方向に押圧する請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の賦形方法。
- 前記複数の成型ブレードを噛み合わせたとき、その噛み合い深さが連続的に変化する部分が設けられている請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の賦形方法。
- 請求項1から請求項5に記載のいずれかの賦形方法で前記伸縮領域が賦形された前記熱可塑性高分子シートであって、熱可塑性高分子から成るフィルムと、熱可塑性高分子の繊維から成る不織布との、少なくともいずれか1種を含む前記熱可塑性高分子シート。
- 前記フィルムおよび前記不織布の少なくともいずれか一方が伸縮性を有する請求項6に記載の熱可塑性高分子シート。
- 前記熱可塑性高分子シートが、前記フィルムおよび前記不織布から少なくとも2種以上を選択して構成された積層シートである請求項6または請求項7に記載の熱可塑性高分子シート。
