Abstract
【解決手段】吸気側/排気側の各VCT18,19の実バルブタイミングを目標バルブタイミングに一致させるように各VCT18,19の油圧制御弁28,29の制御デューティを制御する際に、制御デューティに対するオフセット量を、油温センサ30で検出した油温、エンジン回転速度、負荷に応じて設定して、制御デューティを該オフセット量だけオフセットさせる。この際、バルブタイミングの制御方向が進角方向の場合と遅角方向の場合とで異なるマップを用いてオフセット量を設定する。また、目標バルブタイミングと実バルブタイミングとの偏差が判定値以内であるときには、制御デューティのオフセットを解除する。

Description
ここで、保持デューティは、実バルブタイミングを目標バルブタイミングに保持するのに必要な制御デューティであり、実バルブタイミングが目標バルブタイミングに一致している期間に保持デューティを学習してその学習値を用いれば良いが、保持デューティの学習機能がない場合は、予め設定した保持デューティを用いるようにしても良い。
フィードバック補正量=Kp ・ΔVT+Kd ・d(ΔVT)/dt
この後、ステップ114に進み、制御デューティを出力して吸気側VCT18(排気側VCT19)の油圧制御弁28(29)を駆動し、実バルブタイミングを目標バルブタイミングに近付ける方向に駆動する。
Claims (5)
- 油圧を駆動源として内燃機関の吸気バルブ及び/又は排気バルブのバルブタイミングを変化させる可変バルブタイミング装置と、
前記可変バルブタイミング装置の駆動油圧を調整する油圧制御弁と、
実バルブタイミングを目標バルブタイミングに一致させるように前記油圧制御弁の制御量を制御する制御手段と
を備えた内燃機関の可変バルブタイミング制御装置において、
油温を検出又は推定する油温検出手段を備え、
前記制御手段は、前記油温検出手段で検出又は推定した油温に応じてオフセット量を設定して前記油圧制御弁の制御量を前記オフセット量だけオフセットさせることを特徴とする内燃機関の可変バルブタイミング制御装置。 - 内燃機関の回転速度を検出する回転速度検出手段及び/又は内燃機関の負荷を検出する負荷検出手段を備え、
前記制御手段は、内燃機関の回転速度及び/又は負荷に応じて前記オフセット量を変化させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の可変バルブタイミング制御装置。 - 前記制御手段は、バルブタイミングの制御方向が進角方向の場合と遅角方向の場合とで異なる特性のマップを用いて前記オフセット量を設定することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の内燃機関の可変バルブタイミング制御装置。
- 前記制御手段は、目標バルブタイミングと実バルブタイミングとの偏差が判定値以内であるときには、前記オフセット量による前記油圧制御弁の制御量のオフセットを解除することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の可変バルブタイミング制御装置。
- 前記制御手段は、油温、内燃機関の回転速度、負荷の少なくとも1つに応じて前記判定値を変化させることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の内燃機関の可変バルブタイミング制御装置。
