Abstract
【解決手段】本発明によって提供される電池は、正極を構成する集電体及び負極を構成する集電体を備える電極体30と、当該電極体30の集電体に接合される平板端子10aとを備え、平板端子10aは、集電体に接合される接合面11を含む平坦部12を有しており、平板端子10の長辺端部分13には、平坦部12から折れ曲がった第1の曲部14が形成されている。好ましくは、前記第1の曲部14は、前記電極体30の幅方向における内側に配置される長辺端部分13に設けられており、前記第1の曲部14は前記平坦部12から湾曲して立ち上がるように形成されている。

Claims (7)
- 正極を構成する集電体及び負極を構成する集電体を備える電極体と、
前記集電体に接合される平板端子と
を備え、
前記平板端子は、前記集電体に接合される接合面を含む平坦部を有しており、
前記平板端子の長辺端部分には、前記平坦部から曲がった第1の曲部が形成されていることを特徴とする、電池。 - 前記第1の曲部は、前記電極体の幅方向における内側に配置される長辺端部分に設けられており、
前記第1の曲部は前記平坦部から湾曲して立ち上がるように形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池。 - 前記第1の曲部は、前記電極体の幅方向における内側に配置される長辺端部分に設けられており、
前記第1の曲部と前記平坦部とのなす角度が鈍角となるように形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の電池。 - 前記電極体は、箔状の集電体を備えるシート状正極および箔状の集電体を備えるシート状負極がセパレータを介して捲回されて成る扁平形状の捲回電極体であり、
前記捲回電極体の捲回軸方向における端部には、前記平板端子と接合される集電箔積層部分が配置されており、
前記集電箔積層部分は、前記捲回電極体の厚さ方向に圧縮されて薄肉となった薄肉部と、該薄肉部との比較において相対的に厚肉である厚肉部とから構成されており、
ここで前記平板端子は、前記薄肉部に接合されているとともに、前記厚肉部の外形に沿うように前記平坦部から曲げられた第2の曲部が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3の何れか一つに記載の電池。 - 前記厚肉部は、前記集電箔積層部分の上端に形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の電池。
- 前記電極体を収容する箱形容器と、
前記容器の外面に突出し、前記平板端子と接続する外部端子と
を備え、
前記集電体に接合される前記平板端子の接合面は、前記外部端子よりも前記電極体の幅方向における外側に位置するように配置されており、
前記平板端子は、前記外部端子と前記接合面との間を接続し得るように前記平坦部から曲げられた第3の曲部を有していることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか一つに記載の電池。 - 請求項1〜6のいずれか一つに記載の電池を備える車両。
