Abstract
Description
本明細書で使用する時、「すすぎを通じて(through-the-rinse)」は、任意の最終的すすぎサイクルまたはステージが起こる自動食器洗浄機の洗浄サイクルの期間を意味する。
本明細書で使用する時、「乾燥段階(drying phase)」は、一般に最後のサイクルまたはステージに任意に熱が自動食器洗浄機にもたらされる自動食器洗浄機の洗浄サイクルの期間を意味する。
本明細書で使用する時、「有効量(an effective amount)」は、テスト条件下で、同一条件の下で金属腐食防止剤を含まない組成物に対して、ステンレス鋼、炭素鋼および/またはクロム・メッキの食器類の金属腐食を防止するかまたは減少させるために充分である腐食防止剤の量を意味する。
腐食防止剤は、定式化できるものであって、かつ、食器類、調理器具、ナイフ・フォーク類、グラスおよび類似の調理または食用の表面などの、食用および調理用の表面に安全に使用されるものでなければならない。本明細書において組成物に用いられる腐食防止剤のための好適な材料には:コルテック社(Cortec Corporation)から商品名コルテック(Cortec)(登録商標)S‐69として販売され販売されている安息香酸、エタノールアミン類およびジ脂肪酸(例えばセバシン酸)の混合物;コルテック社から入手可能なシクロヘキシルアミン、安息香酸、エタノールアミン類およびジ脂肪酸(例えばセバシン酸)の混合物;アクゾノーベル表面化学社(Akzo Nobel Surface Chemistry LLC)から商品名ベロル(Berol)(登録商標)725として販売されているリン酸塩エステル、および、BASF社(BASF Corporation)から商品名マフォス(Maphos)(登録商標)43Tとして販売されているリン酸塩エステル/トリエタノールアミン(1:4モル比);フォスフォニック社(PhosphonicS)から商品名フォスフォニック(Phosphonics)P‐04‐002a/bとして販売されている二ナトリウム・エチルおよびブチルホスホネートシリカ;ローディア社(Rhodia)から商品名ミラポル(Mirapol)(登録商標)A400として販売されているホスホン酸塩;商品名サルフィノール(Surfynol)(登録商標)61として販売されているアルキン・ノニオン界面活性剤およびメチルブチロールの混合物で、両方ともエアープロダクツ&ケミカルズ社(Air Products and Chemicals, Inc.)から入手可能なもの、および、上述の腐食防止剤の任意の組合せが挙げられる。
また好適な非イオン性界面活性剤には、低起泡性非イオン性(LFNI)界面活性剤が挙げられるが、それに限定されない。LFNI界面活性剤は、自動食器洗浄用組成物に付与する(特にガラス製品の)水被覆作用(water-sheeting action)が改善されたために最も典型的に、自動食器洗浄用組成物で用いられる。これらは、また、非シリコーン、リン酸塩又は非リン酸塩高分子物質を包含してもよく、これらは自動食器洗いで遭遇する食物の汚れを変形させることが知られている。LFNI界面活性剤は、相対的に低い曇点及び高い親水性−親油性バランス(HLB)を有してもよい。水中の1%溶液の曇点は、全範囲の水温にわたる起泡の最適な抑制のために、典型的には約32℃未満であり、あるいはより低く、例えば0℃である。所望であれば、上記の特性を有する生分解性LFNI界面活性剤を使用してもよい。
いかなる好適な補助剤成分がいかなる好適な量及び形態で使用されてもよい。例えば、洗剤活性および/またはすすぎ補助剤活性な補助剤および/または添加物を腐食防止剤と併用して用いることができる。好適な補助剤成分には、洗浄剤、上述の非イオン性界面活性剤以外の界面活性剤、例えば、アニオン性、カチオン性、両性、双極性、それらの混合物、キレート化剤/金属イオン封鎖剤のブレンド、漂白剤系(例えば、塩素漂白剤、酸素漂白剤、漂白活性化剤、漂白触媒、それらの混合物)、酵素(例えば、プロテアーゼ、リパーゼ、アミラーゼ、それらの混合物)、アルカリ性供給源、軟水剤、二次溶解度変性剤、増粘剤、酸、汚れ放出ポリマー、分散性ポリマー、増粘剤、ヒドロトロープ、結合剤、担体媒質、抗菌活性物質、洗剤充填剤、研磨剤、泡抑制剤、消泡剤、再付着防止剤、閾値剤又は系、審美性向上剤(すなわち、染料、着色剤、香料など)、油、溶媒、それらの混合物が挙げられるが、それらに限定されない。
1つの実施形態において、粒子状亜鉛を含有する材料(PZCMs)および亜鉛を含有する層状材料(ZCLMs)は、ガラス製品表面の処理のために補助成分として加えることができる。粒子状亜鉛含有物質(PZCM)は、配合された組成物中でほとんど不溶性のままである。特定の非限定的な実施形態に役立つPZCMの例には、アルミン酸亜鉛、炭酸亜鉛、酸化亜鉛および酸化亜鉛を含む材料(すなわちカラミン)などの無機材料、リン酸亜鉛(すなわちオルトエステルおよびピロリン酸塩)、亜鉛セレン化物、硫化亜鉛、亜鉛ケイ酸塩(すなわちオルトおよびメタ亜鉛ケイ酸塩)、ケイフッ化亜鉛(亜鉛ホウ酸塩、亜鉛水酸化物およびヒドロキシ硫酸塩)およびZCLMが挙げられる。ガラス腐食防止剤としてのPZCMは、可溶性でなくともZn2+イオンが化学的に有効であることを必要とする。
いかなる好適な泡抑制剤がいかなる好適な量又は形態で使用されてもよい。使用に適した泡抑制剤は、低起泡性であってもよく、低曇点非イオン性界面活性剤(上記で記載されている)、及び高級起泡界面活性剤とその中で泡抑制剤として作用する低曇点非イオン性界面活性剤との混合物を挙げることができる(WO 93/08876、欧州特許0705324、米国特許第6,593,287号、同第6,326,341号、同第5,576,281号を参照のこと)。
いかなる好適なビルダーをいかなる好適な量又は形態で含む、いかなる好適なビルダー系が使用されてもよい。1つの実施形態において、ビルダー系は自動食器洗浄用組成物の約5重量%〜約50重量%、約10重量%〜約40重量%、約15重量%〜約35重量%の量で存在してよい。いかなる従来のビルダーも本明細書での使用に好適である。例えば、好適なビルダー類には、クエン酸塩、リン酸塩(例えば、トリポリリン酸ナトリウム(STPP)、トリポリリン酸カリウム(KTPP)、トリポリリン酸ナトリウムとトリポリリンカリウムとの混合(SKTP)、ピロリン酸ナトリウム若しくはピロリン酸カリウム又はピロリン酸ナトリウムとピロリン酸カリウムとの混合)、アルミノケイ酸塩物質、ケイ酸塩、ポリカルボン酸塩及び脂肪酸、エチレンジアミン四酢酸のような物質、アミノポリホスホネート類のような金属イオン封鎖剤、エチレンジアミンテトラメチレンホスホン酸、並びにジエチレントリアミンペンタメチレンホスホン酸が挙げられるが、それらに限定されない。
いかなる好適な酵素及び/又は酵素安定化系がいかなる好適な量又は形態で使用されてもよい。使用に適した酵素には、プロテアーゼ、アミラーゼ、リパーゼ、セルラーゼ、ペルオキシダーゼ、それらの混合物が挙げられるが、それらに限定されない。改善された漂白剤適合性を有するアミラーゼ及び/又はプロテアーゼが市販されている。実際の問題として、組成物は、組成物1g当たりの重量で約5mgまで、より典型的には約0.01mg〜約3mgの量の活性酵素を含んでよい。プロテアーゼ酵素は、通常、組成物1g当たり0.005重量%〜0.1アンソン単位(AU)の活性を提供するのに十分な濃度で、又は市販の酵素製剤の0.01重量%〜1重量%の濃度で、かかる市販製剤中に存在する。
いかなる好適な漂白剤がいかなる好適な量又は形態で使用されてもよい。使用に適した漂白剤には、塩素及び酸素漂白剤が挙げられるが、それらに限定されない。特定の実施形態において、漂白剤又は系は、該組成物の約0重量%〜約30重量%、又は約1重量%〜約15重量%、又は約1重量%〜約10重量%、あるいは約2重量%〜約6重量%の量で存在してよい。
いかなる好適な分散性ポリマーがいかなる好適な量で使用されてもよい。好適な分散性ポリマーは、アクリル酸、マレイン酸(または無水マレイン酸)、フマル酸、イタコン酸、アコニット酸、メサコン酸、シトラコン酸、及びメチレンマロン酸を含む重合可能な不飽和モノマー酸を含む。ポリマーの分子量は、例えば約1000〜約500,000、あるいは約1000〜約250,000の広範囲で変わることができる。不飽和単量体酸から誘導される更に好適な分散剤ポリマーは、米国特許3,308,067、米国特許3,308,067、米国特許4,379,080、米国特許4,530,766、米国特許5,084,535、および欧州特許0 066 915において開示されるものを含むが、これらに限定されない。
いかなる好適な担体媒質が、いかなる好適な形態においていかなる好適な量で使用されてもよい。好適な担体媒質には、自動食器洗浄用組成物の形態に応じて、液体と固体の両方が挙げられる。固体担体媒質は、乾燥粉末、顆粒、錠剤、封入製品、それらの組合せで使用されてもよい。好適な固体担体媒質には、周囲温度で非活性の固体である担体媒質が挙げられるが、それに限定されない。例えば、ポリエチレングリコール(PEG)のようないかなる好適な有機ポリマーが使用されてもよい。特定の実施形態において、固体担体媒質は、当該組成物の約0.01重量%〜約20重量%、又は約0.01重量%〜約10重量%、あるいは約0.01重量%〜約5重量%の範囲の量で存在してよい。
他の利用可能な補助剤成分は、分散剤および結晶成長阻害剤である。分散剤の機能は、洗浄溶液中に無機塩を懸濁させること、及び食器類へのそれらの付着を最小限にすることである。いくつかの分散剤は、結晶成長阻害剤としても作用可能である。
当該組成物のための他の補助剤成分は、保湿剤として選択できる。保湿剤は、周囲の相対湿度に応じて、周囲から水分を取り入れ又は放出できる物質である。本明細書で使用するのに好ましい保湿剤としては、例えばソルビトール、グリセロール、ジプロピレングリコールそれらの混合物等のグリコール及び多価アルコールを包括した非水性親水性有機溶媒が挙げられる。
いかなる好適な製品形態が使用されてもよい。好適な製品形態には、固体、顆粒、粉末、液体、ゲル、ペースト、半固体、錠剤、水溶性小袋、それらの組合せが挙げられるが、それらに限定されない。本発明の好ましい実施形態では、組成物は多相単位用量製品(好ましくは2区画水溶性袋)の一部を形成し、1つの相は好ましくは主洗浄洗剤組成物を含む。

Claims (9)
- 自動食器洗浄機の中のステンレス鋼、炭素鋼、またはクロムメッキの食器類の腐食を防止する方法であって、
自動食器洗浄機の中にステンレス鋼を配置する工程、および
安息香酸、エタノールアミン類、およびジ脂肪酸の混合物;シクロヘキシルアミン、安息香酸、エタノールアミン類、およびジ脂肪酸の混合物;リン酸塩エステル/トリエタノールアミン;二ナトリウム・エチルおよびブチルホスホネートシリカ;ホスホン酸塩;アルキン・ノニオン界面活性剤およびメチルブチロールの混合物、および上記腐食防止剤の任意の組合せから実質的に構成される群から選択される腐食防止剤を含む自動食器洗浄用組成物にステンレス鋼を接触させる工程、
を含む方法。 - 前記ステンレス鋼が、洗浄を通じて前記腐食防止剤と接触する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ステンレス鋼が、すすぎを通じて前記腐食防止剤と接触する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ステンレス鋼が、乾燥段階中に前記腐食防止剤と接触する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記自動食器洗浄用組成物が、前記自動食器洗浄用組成物の約0.01重量%〜約60重量%のLFNI界面活性剤を更に含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記自動食器洗浄用組成物が、前記組成物1グラムにつき約0.01mg〜約3mgの重さの活性酵素を更に含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記自動食器洗浄用組成物が、該組成物の約0重量%〜約30重量%の漂白剤系を更に含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記自動食器洗浄用組成物が、該組成物の約5重量%〜約50重量%のビルダー系を更に含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記自動食器洗浄用組成物が、固体、顆粒、粉末、液体、ゲル、ペースト、半固体、錠剤、水溶性パウチ、およびそれらの任意の組合せから選択される形態である請求項1に記載の方法。
