Description
(−Ar−X−)及び(−Ar′−Y−)
[式中、Ar及びAr′は、二価の芳香族基、有利には1,4−フェニレン、4,4′−ビフェニレン並びに1,4−、1,5−もしくは2,6−ナフチレンを表す]で示される単位を有する。Xは、電子吸引性基、有利にはカルボニル又はスルホニルであり、Yは、O、S、CH2、イソプロピリデン等のような他の基を表す。この場合に、基Xの少なくとも50%、有利には少なくとも70%、特に有利には少なくとも80%がカルボニル基を表すことが望ましく、基Yの少なくとも50%、有利には少なくとも70%、特に有利には少なくとも80%が酸素からなることが望ましい。
50m2/gのBET表面積及び500μmの平均粒子直径を有するPEEKからなる粒子を、低温で加工するピン付ディスクミル(Hosokawa Alpine CW 160)を用いて粉砕した。この場合、PEEK粒子を、スクリューコンベアを介して粉砕室中に供給し、その間に液体窒素で−50℃に冷却した。この粉砕室中で、PEEK粒子は回転するピン付ディスクにより220m/sに加速した。この速度で、前記粒子はピン付ディスクに取り付けられたピンに衝突し、強い衝突応力に曝され、この衝突応力により粒子が破壊された。これは、PEEK粒子の15kg/hの処理量で行った。この粉砕室から、100μmより小さな粒子の割合30質量%を有する微粉化された生成物が得られた(DIN EN ISO 4610によるアルピネ エアジェットシーブを用いた篩い分け分析)。
実施例1と同様に作業するが、20kg/hの処理量で行った。この粉砕室から、100μmより小さな粒子の割合30質量%を有する微粉化された生成物が得られた。
PEEK顆粒(0.1m2/gより低いBET表面積)を低温で加工するピン付ディスクミル(Hosokawa Alpine CW 160)を用いて粉砕することを試した。この場合、PEEK粒子を、スクリューコンベアを介して粉砕室中に供給し、その間に液体窒素で−70℃に冷却した。この粉砕室中で、PEEK粒子は回転するピン付ディスクにより220m/sに加速した。この速度で、前記粒子はピン付ディスクに取り付けられたピンに衝突し、強い衝突応力に曝された。PEEK顆粒の処理量は15kg/hであった。この粉砕室から、100μmより小さな粒子の割合2質量%を有する生成物が得られた。この手順を3回実施した後で、100μmより小さい粒子の割合7質量%が生じた。この粉砕時の低い効率に基づき、分離は行わなかった。
Claims (9)
- 1m2/gより高いBET表面積を有する多孔性ポリアリーレンエーテルケトンを粉砕することを特徴とする、ポリアリーレンエーテルケトンの製造方法。
- 多孔性ポリアリーレンエーテルケトンを0℃以下の温度で粉砕することを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法。
- 粉砕された生成物を分級又は篩い分けすることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2記載の方法。
- 得られたポリアリーレンエーテルケトン粉末は、1〜300μmの数平均粒子直径d50を有することを特徴とする、請求項3記載の方法。
- ポリアリーレンエーテルケトンが、PEEK、PEK、PEKK又はPEEKKであることを特徴とする、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- ポリアリーレンエーテルケトンが20〜150cm3/gの粘度数を有することを特徴とする、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載の方法により製造されたポリアリーレンエーテルケトン粉末。
- 混合された無機顔料又は加工助剤を有することを特徴とする、請求項7記載のポリアリーレンエーテルケトン粉末。
- 被覆のため又は複合材料又は成形品の製造のための、請求項7又は8のポリアリーレンエーテルケトン粉末の使用。
