Abstract
【解決手段】ハウジング7の底部7bに軸方向下方へ向けた突出部7b3を設け、この突出部7b3の外周面7b31をブラケット6の内周面6aに固定している。ハウジング7の底部7bにスラスト荷重が負荷されると、その荷重の一部が突出部7b3を介してブラケット6に支持される。そのため、ハウジング7の側部7aと底部7bとの境界部Pの強度が増し、過大なスラスト荷重による境界部Pの破断を防止することができる。その一方で、底部7bの肉厚を不変にできるから、底部7bの内端面7b1に形成されたスラスト軸受面の成形収縮による変形を抑えることができる。

Claims (4)
- 側部及び底部を一体に有し、側部の一端が開口すると共に、他端が底部で閉鎖されたハウジングと、ハウジングの内部に収容された軸部材と、軸部材の外周面と面するラジアル軸受隙間と、ハウジング底部の内端面に面するスラスト軸受隙間とを備えた流体軸受装置において、
ハウジング底部の外端面の外周に、軸方向でかつ前記開口部から離反する方向に突出した突出部を設け、この突出部をブラケットの内周面に固定したことを特徴とする流体軸受装置。 - 前記突出部の径方向の肉厚が、ハウジング側部の肉厚よりも大きい請求項1記載の流体軸受装置。
- 突出部に、径方向の肉厚を増しながらハウジング底部の外端面に達する補強部を設けた請求項1記載の流体軸受装置。
- ハウジングの側部の内周面と底部の内端面との境界部にヌスミ部を設けた請求項1〜3の何れかに記載の流体軸受装置。
