Abstract
【解決手段】駆動カムが設けられた駆動軸と、吸気弁の上端部に設けられたバルブリフタ8の冠部19の上面19aを転接しながら押圧して、前記吸気弁を開作動させる揺動カムと、前記駆動カムの回転運動を揺動運動に変換して前記揺動カムに伝達する伝達機構とを備え、機関運転状態に応じて揺動カムによる吸気弁のリフト量を可変にする可変動弁装置において、バルブリフタの冠部に上下方向へ貫通した油孔21を形成すると共に、この油孔を、揺動カムのカム面が冠部上面の内周側から外周側で揺動ストロークの折り返し地点(B地点)付近において油孔の入口開口縁21bがカム面の外側縁に接触する位置を避けた内周部位に形成した。

Claims (4)
- クランクシャフトによって回転駆動され、外周に偏心駆動カムが設けられた駆動軸と、
機関弁の上端部に設けられたバルブリフタの冠部の上面を転接しながら押圧して、前記機関弁を開作動させる揺動カムと、
前記駆動カムの回転運動を揺動運動に変換して前記揺動カムに伝達する伝達機構と、
機関運転状態に応じて前記伝達機構の姿勢を変更して前記揺動カムによる前記機関弁のリフト量を可変にする制御機構と、を備えた内燃機関の可変動弁装置において、
前記バルブリフタの冠部上面に耐摩耗性の表面処理を施すと共に、
該冠部の所定位置に、冠部上面に入口開口部を有する油孔を上下方向へ貫通形成し、
前記油孔を、前記揺動カムのカム面が前記冠部上面の内周側から外周側へ転接しつつ一方向へ揺動ストロークして機関弁を開作動させた後に、他方向へ揺動ストロークする折り返し地点付近において前記油孔の入口開口部の開口縁がカム面の外側縁に接触する位置を避けた部位に形成したことを特徴とする内燃機関のバルブリフタ。 - 前記油孔を、前記揺動カムが一方向へ揺動ストロークしてカム面が前記冠部上面の内周側から外周側へ転接して機関弁を開作動させた際における高面圧領域内であって、前記折り返し地点付近において前記油孔入口開口部の開口縁が前記カム面の外側縁に接触する位置を避けた部位に形成したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関のバルブリフタ。
- 前記油孔を、バルブリフタの前記冠部下面のほぼ中央に突設されたボス部のほぼ外周面位置から前記折り返し地点付近での入口開口部の開口縁が前記カム面の外側縁に接触する位置を避けた内周側部位に形成したことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の内燃機関のバルブリフタ。
- 前記油孔を、前記ボス部の外周面にほぼ沿って貫通形成し、前記油孔の内周面を前記ボス部の外周面に連続するように形成したことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の内燃機関のバルブリフタ。
