Abstract
【解決手段】位置情報を含む位置コードが備えられたスケールと、このスケールに対して相対移動可能に配設されると共に、前記スケールに備えられた前記位置コードの少なくとも一部を検出する検出部と、この検出部で検出された位置コードの一部を処理して、位置情報を出力する処理部と、を備えた変位検出エンコーダにおいて、前記検出された位置コードについて、位置コードを生成する位置コード生成手段で評価して、誤り情報の有無を検出する。

- 位置情報を含む位置コードが備えられたスケールと、このスケールに対して相対移動可能に配設されると共に、前記スケールに備えられた前記位置コードの少なくとも一部を検出する検出部と、この検出部で検出された位置コードの一部を処理して、位置情報を出力する処理部と、を備えた変位検出エンコーダにおいて、
前記検出された位置コードについて、位置コードを生成する位置コード生成手段で評価して、誤り情報の有無を検出することを特徴とする変位検出エンコーダ。 - 前記位置コードは、擬似ランダムコードを含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の変位検出エンコーダ。
- 前記位置コード生成手段は、前記擬似ランダムコードの生成式を含むことを特徴とする請求項2記載の変位検出エンコーダ。
- 前記位置コード生成手段は、位置情報と位置コードとの対応テーブルを備えたものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の変位検出エンコーダ。
- 前記誤り情報の有無を検出した結果に基づいて、検出した誤り情報を除去することを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の変位検出エンコーダ。
- 前記誤り情報の有無を検出した結果に基づいて、検出した誤り情報を訂正することを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の変位検出エンコーダ。
