Abstract
Description
本出願は、参照により本明細書に組み込まれる、「Wavelength-Division Multiple Access Passive Optical Network Using the Incoherent Broadband Light Source」という名称の、2003年5月30日出願の韓国特許出願第2003−0034978号からの優先権を主張する。
Claims (17)
- 高強度ブロードバンド光源と、
前記高強度ブロードバンド光源の出力を複数の光ライン端末に、共有された方法で分配するための、前記高強度ブロードバンド光源に結合された光パワー・ディストリビューターと、を含む装置。 - 前記高強度ブロードバンド光源の出力が非コヒーレントな光である請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記高強度ブロードバンド光源が光の第1のバンド用である請求項1に記載の装置。
- 複数の高強度ブロードバンド光源と、
前記複数の高強度ブロードバンド光源の出力を複数の光ライン端末に、共有された方法で分配するための、前記複数の高強度ブロードバンド光源に結合された光パワー・ディストリビューターと、を含む装置。 - 前記複数の高強度ブロードバンド光源が2つの高強度ブロードバンド光源を含む請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記複数の高強度ブロードバンド光源が2つよりも多い高強度ブロードバンド光源を含む請求項4に記載の装置。
- 複数の高強度ブロードバンド光源と、
1つの出力を提供するために、前記複数の高強度ブロードバンド光源のそれぞれの出力の間を切り換える光パス・コントローラーと、
前記光パス・コントローラーの出力を複数の光ライン端末に、共有された方法で分配するための、前記光パス・コントローラーの出力に結合された光パワー・ディストリビューターと、を含む装置。 - 前記光パス・コントローラーが制御信号により制御される請求項7に記載の装置。
- 複数の第1の高強度ブロードバンド光源と、
各々が、複数の光ライン端末のそれぞれ1つに結合された複数の出力を有し、前記複数の第1の高強度ブロードバンド光源のそれぞれ1つに結合された複数の光パワー・ディストリビューターと、
第2の高強度ブロードバンド光源と、
前記第2の高強度ブロードバンド光源の出力に結合された入力を有し、かつ複数の出力を有する光パス・スイッチであって、前記光パス・スイッチの前記複数の出力の各出力が、前記複数の光パワー・ディストリビューターのそれぞれ1つの入力に結合され、前記光パス・スイッチが前記第2の高強度ブロードバンド光源の前記出力を前記複数の光パワー・ディストリビューターの1つの入力に結合する光パス・スイッチと、を含む装置。 - 前記光パス・スイッチが制御信号により制御される請求項9に記載の装置。
- 複数の高強度ブロードバンド光源と、
前記複数の高強度ブロードバンド光源の出力を光ディストリビューターの複数の出力に、共有された方法で分配するための、前記複数の高強度ブロードバンド光源に結合された光ディストリビューターと、
複数の光パワー・ディストリビューターであって、前記複数の光パワー・ディストリビューターの各々が、前記光ディストリビューターの前記複数の出力のそれぞれ1つに結合された入力を有し、複数の光ライン端末のそれぞれ1つと結合された複数の出力を有し、共有された方法で前記出力の間で光入力を分配する複数の光パワー・ディストリビューターと、を含む装置。 - ブロードバンド光源と、
前記ブロードバンド光源の出力を光パワー・ディストリビューターの複数の出力に、共有された方法で分配するための、前記ブロードバンド光源に結合された光パワー・ディストリビューターと、
前記光パワー・ディストリビューターの前記複数の出力のそれぞれ1つに結合された複数の光増幅器と、を含む装置。 - 前記複数の光増幅器のそれぞれの出力が、それぞれの光ライン端末の複数のブロードバンド光源カプラーのそれぞれの1つに結合される請求項12に記載の装置。
- 偏光されたブロードバンド光源と、
前記偏光されたブロードバンド光源の出力に結合された入力を有する減偏光子と、を含む装置。 - 第1の方向に偏光された出力を有する第1のブロードバンド光源と、
前記第1の方向とは異なる第2の方向に偏光された出力を有する第2のブロードバンド光源と、
前記第1のブロードバンド光源の出力に結合された第1の入力を有し、前記第2のブロードバンド光源の出力に結合された第2の入力を有する偏光化カプラーと、を含む装置。 - 複数の光送信器、
第1のバンド用の光波長ルータ、
を含む第1の集積されたモジュールと、
複数の光受信器、
第2のバンド用の光波長ルータ、
を含む第2の集積されたモジュールと、
を含む装置。 - 前記第1のバンド用の前記光波長ルータに結合された前記第1のバンド用のブロードバンド光源と、
前記第2のバンド用の前記光波長ルータに結合された前記第2のバンド用のブロードバンド光源と、
をさらに含む請求項16に記載の装置。
