Abstract
【解決手段】制御信号に応じて電動モータを通電駆動すると共に、電動モータの回転方向を電圧レベルにより表す回転方向信号を出力する駆動回路と、回転方向信号に応じて生成した制御信号を出力する制御回路と、駆動回路から制御回路へ回転方向信号を伝達する信号線とを備え、電動モータの回転を利用して内燃機関のバルブタイミングを調整するバルブタイミング調整装置において、駆動回路は、制御信号の出力開始以降の所定期間Pにおいてハイ(H)レベルの回転方向信号を強制出力する。

Claims (9)
- 電動モータの回転を利用して内燃機関のバルブタイミングを調整するバルブタイミング調整装置であって、
制御信号に応じて前記電動モータを通電駆動すると共に、前記電動モータの回転方向を電圧レベルにより表す回転方向信号を出力する駆動回路と、
前記回転方向信号に応じて生成した前記制御信号を出力する制御回路と、
前記駆動回路から前記制御回路へ前記回転方向信号を伝達する信号線と、
を備え、
前記駆動回路は、前記制御信号の出力開始以降の所定期間においてハイレベルの前記回転方向信号を強制出力することを特徴とするバルブタイミング調整装置。 - 前記制御回路は、前記所定期間においてローレベルの前記回転方向信号が入力されることにより、前記信号線の地絡異常を検出することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバルブタイミング調整装置。
- 前記駆動回路は、前記所定期間以外の所定時期において前記回転方向信号の電圧レベルを前記信号線のアクティブ電圧レベルと同レベルに強制設定することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のバルブタイミング調整装置。
- 前記所定時期は、前記所定期間以降の時期に規定されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のバルブタイミング調整装置。
- 電動モータの回転を利用して内燃機関のバルブタイミングを調整するバルブタイミング調整装置であって、
制御信号に応じて電動モータを通電駆動すると共に、前記電動モータの回転方向を電圧レベルにより表す回転方向信号を出力する駆動回路と、
前記回転方向信号に応じて生成した前記制御信号を出力する制御回路と、
前記駆動回路から前記制御回路へ前記回転方向信号を伝達する信号線と、
を備え、
前記駆動回路は、所定時期において前記回転方向信号の電圧レベルを前記信号線のアクティブ電圧レベルと同レベルに強制設定することを特徴とするバルブタイミング調整装置。 - 前記アクティブ電圧レベルは、ローレベルであることを特徴とする請求項3〜5のいずれか一項に記載のバルブタイミング調整装置。
- 前記アクティブ電圧レベルは、ハイレベルであることを特徴とする請求項3〜5のいずれか一項に記載のバルブタイミング調整装置。
- 前記制御回路は、前記所定時期において前記アクティブ電圧レベルと異なるレベルの前記回転方向信号が入力されることにより、前記信号線の断線異常を検出することを特徴とする請求項3〜7のいずれか一項に記載のバルブタイミング調整装置。
- 前記所定時期は、前記制御信号の出力開始以降の時期に規定されていることを特徴とする請求項3〜8のいずれか一項に記載のバルブタイミング調整装置。
